we were gonna give alianna a younger sibling around draven's age, who was friends with him.

I'm so busy with finals that I only have a vague idea. I'll read over your lieutenant and if you had any particular idea in mind for their relationship, I'm open to that! If not, once I have a foundation for my character's personality, I'll have a better idea of how they would interact. No need to change anything!

OH RIGHT OKAY. so I could make her, or someone else could! maybe someone else bc admittedly I hit my ten claimable characters already. since alianna is so much older than draven, maybe she helped corrupt him, but as you wanted a friend for him and someone more sunny, she wouldnt be it lol. so maybe someone else

yeah, i would totally be down with working out alianna's and draven's relationship. that sounds very plausible.
as for the other cousin, we can always see if someone else wants her. and would it make more sense for her to be eadric's daughter, or the daughter of eadric and esmerelda's brother?

and yeah, maybe we could do that. and honestly, thinking of it now, either works. I am really fine with alianna having more siblings (and younger/draven's age works perfectly) but if we wanted their brother to have one thats fine too. though whoever creates the kid would probably have to ask us for more details on the brother lol

So I have a character idea but it's for a noble and I don't know/understand the noble families in this group so i'm just gonna put this here and see if I can figure this out.
I basically want to make a really old dude that's spent like 70 years of his life learning so much magic it's unreasonable. He'd be like someones grandfather, or great grandfather, or great great, or etc. I would prefer if the history of the noble bloodline he's in being a bit older and more ancient (just like him) but that isn't too important if I can find a family with an opening.
If anyone has a family that could fit him please reply or PM me!
@alpha i mean... we can maybe work him into the delacroix family? i'm not exactly sure how, but it might work. they are an older bloodline, and known for being powerful magic-users. they're also really proud of that fact, and super classist, so idk if that's what you had in mind. anyway, there are currently four created characters in the family, you can find them all on the voxthain thread, their first names are: elliot, draven, loralei, and esmeralda.
Alright, so, I've got this plan for a cousin/friend for my character, Draven Delacroix. He's 18, and head of the house. So, for this character, she would be the daughter of Eadric Calico
dw, Elizabeth and I have discussed this,or possibly the daughter of Eadric's younger brother. I was thinking she and Draven would be around the same age and might have a sort of grumpy x sunshine friendship dynamic.
I'm also open to other friendships, although... Draven's friends would prob all be nobility...

@bella - That's kinda exactly what I was looking for. Is there a way that the family could fit a really old wizard that's basically mastered all magic and is well-known for creating new spells and writing spell books? Obviously there are the setbacks for him form old age like limited mobility (throwing that in cause I want to make it clear that i'm not just making an op oc).

maybe? that would be a bit hard to work into the bloodline thinking about it... if you don't want him directly related to the family I totally get it cause I don't want him to have any claim at being 'heir'. we can leave that to the young'uns....

alright, so, here he we go:
draven is the current head of the house. esmeralda, draven's mom, was from the calico family, and married into the dealcroix line, and, therefore, has no claim on the title. her husband used to be head of the house, but he passed away, so now draven is.
so, for your character, if he's like a great uncle or something tho, that could maybe work, because a child comes before a younger sibling in lines of succession. of course, since draven doesn't have kids, i guess that might mean your character would technically be the heir, idk, but draven's only eighteen, so it's not like anyone would even really think of the great uncle as an heir anyway.
if he was related on esmeralda's side, he would be a part of the calico family, not the delacroix family, and you'd have to discuss that with elizabeth, who has the calico patriarch
okay so, it would be better for him to somehow relate to the father then. in which case I could possibly do him as a younger sibling to whatever generation he came from?

ok, hear me out... runalithe squad and possibly esmeralda want to kill lucien, so lala goes against them, somehow pulls draven into it and then... well either draven gets kidnapped by some bad guys OR elliot realizes his family is involved, and gets his night rider friends to help kidnap him
