Ooh, it'd low-key be fun if Alianna knew Aurelius was queer. She wouldn't know that he's dating Sorin because he would've started dating him years after she left. But I think it'd add a different thing to his arc. I still want him to struggle a little bit with his queerness, just not as much as he does in NS, given the vastly different circumstances here.
I'm thinking he also doesn't help Alianna bully others in this group either. Elara and Aurielle are like polar opposites, so there wouldn't seemingly be any reason for him to try to get the attention of both his parents for approval like he does in NS. I'm also thinking he finds out about his queerness here a bit younger than in NS. He would've been about 15 when Allie ran away, then.
Overall, I'm really excited to create a new-ish arc for him here 😊
Okay, to anybody who has a Calico.I'm making a Calico sibling. His name is Aurelius. He's biromantic ace. As for personality, he's a bit quiet, sensitive, kind, compassionate, loyal, accepting and open-minded. At the same time though, he's a bit gullible and a little bit insecure about a couple things.
He's about 20-21.
He partially resents his father for having favorites and cheating on his mother. He feels somewhat ignored by him. He hates his father's classist attitude. He also can't stand Alianna and while he used to love his sister, he's also always been afraid of her.
I wanna figure out what his relationships are going to be with his family members.

okay, so i have alex, who would be one of aurelius' siblings. he's 18 and omni.
he's not elara's childhe's actually the child of her sister, but he didn't know that for a long time, and was raised as isley's twin, he found out the truth when he was like thirteen, and he always had some resentment against eadric for favoring the girls, but it got a lot worse after that.
as of now, he hates both of his birth parents, but is kinda close with elara. he's super close with isley, and i think he and alianna got on pretty well before she leftof the siblings, he's prob the most like her lol.
he's super smart, like a literal genius, but also possibly borderline insane. i think he's also a bit impulsive, a live in the moment type of person, but also a plan ahead, i'm gonna get what i want type of person, if that makes any sense? he likes to make explosives and such, and was also a bully in school, but is super good at playing innocent, so didn't get caught much. he's also a snake, but no one knows thatat least not yet, super pissed about being passed over for the inheritancealthough the addition of aurelius might slightly change that, since he wouldn't have been next in line after alianna now.
like i said, he hates both of his birth parents, but he doesn't have an issue with his siblings, he knows none of it is their fault, and he'd maybe bond with aurelius over the unfairness of being passed over for the inheritance?
anyway, let me know what you think for their relationship.

Okay, so Elius will be open to select family members. Not Alianna and not his mother. Pretty typical for the previous history I have for him for a different group. They can still be close, he'll just keep a part of himself hidden

I feel like he'd be a little wary of Alex, especially if he knew he and Alianna got along pretty well prior to her running away. But he's overall very kind towards his family and loves them all, even Alianna despite her mistreatment of him

@Alexandria,I have Isley, the other Calico twin. She's 18, and she thought she and Alex were twins until he told her the truth sometime after he found out.
She's very friendly, positive, impulsive, whimsical, and chaotic (in a benevolent way, if that makes sense) and cares about all her family members. She is much more observant and intelligent than she lets on, but mostly she just wants to go on adventures and have fun and bring joy to her friends and family.
She looked up to Alianna a lot growing up but wasn't fully aware of her sister's cruelty. I'm assuming she learned more about the kind of person Alianna was later after she left (actually hadn't really thought about that lol), but regardless, she still loves her and hopes that she's okay wherever she is.
Also, she absolutely does not want the responsibilities of being head of house. If Alianna never resurfaces, she is probably planning on either sharing duties with Alex or just handing it over to him entirely. Although, now that Aurelius exists that might change? Originally part of her reasoning was because technically Alex was in line before her so she felt like it belonged to him more anyway. I'm not sure what she would do now.

Okay yeah I am going to age Winter up to 21 just so she won't be as much of an outsider with the rest of her cousins. She's super sweet and kind but a little eccentric at times, mostly due to social awkwardness and naivete. I think she would love both Cynthia and Adrien though. She might badger them both with lots of questions about whatever things they would know lots about - law for Cynthia, history for Adrien (he does work for the Luckes or am I just misremembering lol?), etc.

yeah, that sounds good. yes, he does work for the luckes. i think they would both like winter too. like i said, i get the sense that cynthia would have prob done more visiting than adrien, but then again, she and adrien would have been in the same class at cogworks, so they would have seen each other more there.
as for now... adrien is... hyper-focused on solving liam's murder, so he prob isn't actually visiting with anyone much, although cynthia has been trying to get him to, yk, do other things.

Awesome! And yes, Isley is not very classist. She's kind to everyone regardless of their class, so she would be positive and friendly to any of Artemisia's friends she meets.
Yeah that makes sense. It would probably look really bad if any of the cousins were seriously harassing each other lol. Winter would most likely just try to avoid Vera and her friends whenever possible. Also she tends to avoid groups of people in general anyway just because she's socially awkward oof.

Yeah, maybe we could try to work that in somewhere, or if it doesn't work they could always have met within the Blacklights.
So now that I finally have a better idea of him, I can actually come up with some ideas lol. He grew up on the poorer side of Asterath, and he's illegitimate so mainly lives with his mom. I was going to make his dad (now deceased) have been an assassin or something along those lines for the snakes. And then when his dad died (not sure how/why yet), he was recruited by the Blacklights as a shield and then later on became the sword for the spiders. So he and Xinyi could connect over shared hatred of the snakes lol.
He did go to Cogworks for a while but eventually had to drop out, so maybe he and Xinyi met there first?
And yes, I would love to figure out Winter/Audrey's relationship. Audrey is Veralyn's twin, right?

Poor Adrien, I feel so bad for him. Winter probably would try not to pester him too much because she doesn't want to overstep, but she'll send him letters semi-often just to let him know that she's thinking about him and misses him. She's very accepting, so she would have been supportive of him when he came out.
For his investigation if he ever needs a research buddy or someone who doesn't mind doing repetitive, tedious tasks, Winter would try and help as much as possible. Not like she has much else to do lol.
