Yeah, Aiden is upset about that. He's more mad at Eadric than Isley or Artemisia though, so I still think that they could get along, especially after Isley found out that Alex wasn't really her twin and that she has grown more closer to Elara recently.

I am so sorry for the late response! Okay, so, yes! I like this idea for Isley and Artemisia! I think Artemisia would very much like to spend time with her, but she is also so worried Isley wouldn't see her as her sister because she is not Elara's daughter, and she is jealous Eadric is so much closer to Isley than her. But Artemisia is never cruel and loves Isley very much. She'd love to go out with her, and she'd let her do her hair, too, I like these ideas!
And the Devoes! If you make a Devoe, I do have one of the granddaughters (one of the heirs? I think? Idk I get a little lost via the Devoes) and her name is Veralyn and she is a petty, vain bully who loves fashion and that is kind of it

Unrelated, but I finally got around to reading Xinyi's form - love her btw. I was planning on Ozzy being around the same age as her, maybe a year younger. I'm not sure in general how well the blacklights are connected to each other. Would they know the other swords?
Another thought I had was maybe they knew each other from before, like they were friends as children or something? I'm still outlining his history and how he even became the sword and everything, so sorry these are all super rough ideas. I'm just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks lol.

No worries! I actually hadn't checked back here until today anyway, so this works out perfectly.
Yay I'm glad that works for them! Isley loves doing hair and fashion, so she would be so happy when Artemisia lets her do her hair. I think given that she still sees Alex as her twin, she would think of Artemisia as her sister even though her mother was a commoner. She might ask Artemisia to introduce her to her commoner friends too if she's okay with that. Isley will be friends with almost anyone as long as they aren't really rude or something, and she had some commoner friends when she was part of a dance troupe during her school years.
Atm I have one Devoe completed. Mine is Winter, though I might boost her age up to 21-ish and change up her history a little to where she actually did attend and graduate from Cogworks. I think the way I have her currently is too isolated from the other characters. Feel free to have the bully squad torment the will to live out of her lol.
I might make her a sibling, hmm. I'll have to see if I get any solid ideas.
@snail I actually have two devoes as well, who would be cousins of winter's. Cynthia is 23, and Adrien is 21 (Adrien is also not on the best if terms with the family at large)

Hmm, trying to remember what my own character is supposed to even be like so I can think of ideas for them. As far as I remember, Winter is chronically ill (I actually can't remember what her illness is supposed to be bc apparently I never wrote it down ugh) and doesn't get out as much as some of the other family members. Probably unless any of her cousins went out of their way to visit/talk to her, she wouldn't be that close with any of them. She does love writing though, so I can see her writing letters to any of her cousins that are willing to correspond with her. If I bump her age up to 21, then she and Adrien would have been in the same year at Cogworks, so of the existing family members, they might have at least seen each other around the school the most?

hmmm, i feel like they would visit her at least sometimes? i feel like cynthia especially would want to? although she is older, but if you age her up to 21, it's only like two years, so, not much, and yeah, if you age her up, that would make sense, and then they would be in the same grade, which could be interesting.

and yeah, I think that works! Artemisia does have some friends in the city, so she would love to introduce them to Isley, as long as she was not classist about the whole thing, since Artemisia is not and knows that most of her family is.
That makes so much sense about the age isolation! I think that would put Veralyn at about two years older than Winter, the same age as Cynthia. Yeah, I could see Vera targeting her cousin sometimes, especially with all Winter has going on, unfortunately. She probably wasn't as bad to her as she could have been/was to others because she knows Winter is in the family and doesn't want to risk her standing though, I will say

how does the bully squad feel about leon, especially like back in the the early teenage years, since leon wasn't rich until 15-16ish, and actually grew up pretty poor? i get the feeling that they probably didn't even know her until her family became well known, but like once they did, how did they feel about like whole new money thing? she's not a noble, right, but i neither is europa. could she potentially have been like a possible target of like rude comments and stuff at first or would she immediately be accepted as like 'good enough'?
from the standpoint of my three, Europa was Asterath royalty, hence why they accepted her. But I doubt mine knew who Leon even was honestly, especially if she is two years behind them, as they mostly tormented people in their year or the one above or below, or anyone they saw more often? That said, Europa may be her age, but I don't know if my nobles would have even, like, paid much attention Leon, though if they did they probably made snide comments and were not very nice. reminder money does not exist in Lux, but, when she got wealthy, Alianna may let up the teasing some, but not a ton (that said she also left at 17), but the others probably were still miffed that Leon had been poor and now had money, at least for my remaining two and would sometimes make comments still
awesome that fits perfectly! and yeah i agree like they probably did not really pay much attention to her at all, i just wanted to confirm that in case you had a different idea, so overall probably just a little indirect rudeness at least to her face, nothing explicitly hateful at all, which works as what i was thinking. and yeah i know there's no money i just don't know like how to refer to that power they have other than 'rich' 😭😭 like influential might be a better term?

Hi! So I'm making a little Voxthain citizen girlie who likes traveling the city and doing odd jobs, social and super glamorous and fun if a bit awkward and lonely. I'm thinking she has a few mental disorders attributed to growing up alone with no family and has very bad relationship views and tendencies.
Disinhibited Social Engagement Disorder (DSED) and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) are the real-world disorders I'd say she has, but really the gist is that they cause overly familiar attachment to strangers or anyone showing basic kindness. Like if someone says she did a good job, she might form an attachment to them and will behave as if they're her parent. Or if someone smiles at her in a certain way, she thinks they're in love with her.
The attachments are intense and unstable and the people she's attached to probably are either uncomfortable or egotistical and like the attention. Lots of emotional whiplash after idealizing someone after a small kindness, then feeling crushed or betrayed if that person withdraws or fails to reciprocate at the same depth.
TL;DR, she forms instant bonds in her mind, misreading small gestures as deep connection, because her brain has learned that love and safety must be seized the moment they appear or she won't get them at all.
Anyways yes if anyone has any characters they want for this it would basically just be intense unrequited love bc she gets attached to everyone and their brother in search of relationships she's never been able to have
