hmm... what council tasks are more interesting to venus? it could be something related to cogworks, the upkeep of the stairs and elevators connecting the cities, the shadowfog, the murders. really anything that impacts both cities

if you'd prefer, i can have her pin the blame on the seaveys. that would be just as easy. either way it goes, she has zero evidence and will not be offering any proof, she's just trying to stir up trouble. i think it could even be funny if sapphira doesn't believe her at all but tells lala that her sister councilor is lowkey trying to frame her family for murder

Yeah, my opinion is that if she knows they're more strained. Her reaction is also based on the hatred that they allowed their daughter/son to do such horrors to her which have scarred her. If she doesn't know about her uncle supporting her cousin then it would make things easier. She'd probably still hold a grudge and have a fictional arm stuck out to keep distance but she'd be more open for some interaction and reconcile.

If it's like an obvious fluke then yeah, that'd be hilarious. She's probably very defensive receiving that letter so it'd probably be hard to trick her. She'd be going through all of the evidence lol. If that doesn't work we can switch to Seaveys but I agree that we should pin it on Delacroix if possible.

She'd be the mother of mine, he's the head of the family!! His name is Kyo-Hae Lucke, for reference. He has no history written out so you're free to do whatever you'd like with her and let me know relevant information to my character!

I was thinking positive too! what I have for personality (although if course references to like relationship dynamics will be changed if needed): Antonio is a jock with a heart of gold. He lives and breathes soccer, it’s true, but what’s most important to him is his family. He has a bit of a tendency to “collect” siblings as it were. First of all, there are his actual biological sisters, and then all the Stormvale cousins, and his best friend Elliot Delacroix, with whom he shares no biological relationship, but is his brother, genetics be damned. Antonio would do anything for any one of them. He has always preferred Asterath to Voxthain, due to its more carefree environment, however, he does really care about intercity relations. But, damn, do some of the nobles piss him off. He and Elliot were known for their pranks during their Cogworks years, and Antonio still loves to occasionally play them on his friends and family, especially with Elliot, but also on his own. In spite of all this, Antonio wasn’t a bad student, he was always intelligent, and did well enough in all his classes. He’s also an early bird, and likes to get early to go for a run before breakfast. He does love attention, but doesn’t let it go to his head - for the most part at least. Sure, he has his cocky moments, but deep down he cares about helping others so much that sometimes he forgets to take care of himself. And sometimes - just sometimes - the role of eternal optimist can be a bit difficult to fill.

I feel like he's at least somewhat close to all his relatives, but not really beyond that. His family is, as I mentioned in his personality, like the most important thing to him. Do you have anything decided on Camila's personality?
So Alpha, Elizabeth, and I talked about it, and we agreed that Camilia isn't super close to her siblings, but she' still cares for them and is supportive. I feel like it could be the same for her and her cousins to an extent.

so, working on my stromvale, xavier, and I'm almost done save for history. so, the uncle who is the current head of the house is not the father of any of the kids. what are we thinking for the parents of catalina, xavier, and camila? were they from voxthain and astertah, or one or both? i think they're not really in the picture anymore, from what i've learned, so what are y'all thinking? maybe one parent was from voxthain and one was from asterath or something, maybe one was the sibling of the current uncle? (if that works for you, isabella?)
and then isabella, what are your thoughts for the relationship between xavier and his uncle? xavier is part of the immediate family, and here's what i have so far

alright, so i was wondering the same things as elizabeth, although my character is from a different immediate family. but like, history of the parents, how much they're in the picture, all of that. also, Antonio's relationship to (@isabella) the uncle, as well as (@rory and aelin) his sisters. if he's 20, that would make him the older brother, or am I remembering wrong.

yes i love this! definitely intern vibes. i bet casmir would mostly leave talking to him to the other scientists, but if asked, he would give him tasks to help out with experiments. maybe the council scientists have a program with cogworks training aspiring scientists with these internship type apprenticeships? (which i guess is just an apprenticeship)

So, for Melody's relationship with all her brother's I've imagined them all as a pretty tight knit group. The kind of thing where they have healthy relationships despite how fucked up the family is and they support each other unconditionally. (that schpeel goes for all brothers). As for her twin specifically, I would imagine they're closer. He probably doesn't know she's a bully (none of them should), but they still see her as a recovering bullying victim of their disowned cousin. There is so much more shit that I'm forgetting and I'm sorry, my brain is fried.
Also while reading through again, love the sciencey stuff. Definitely gives him his own spark in the family.

I guess obvs not a whole lot, because of that, but, like, I feel like he doesn't make friends easily, and would likely stick to his sister and her friends a lot? idkyeah, kinda going for dark academia, but make it STEM
