@Elizabeth on the note if cal realizing serpentine isn't behind the murders, do you think she'll pull investigation out of asterath altogether, it just away from serpentine?

I woke up this morning with answers by some miracle! More then I asked for too lol.
1.
When it comes to Sapphira having a support person, I think I'm gonna choose Lala. That way there is no temptation with Lucien in the first place, and also when Lala and Lucien get together, she'll just end up being one of Lala's friends.
On that note, when they meet, I think it'll be very awkward but Lala will do her best to be supportive and comforting. She'll probably leave Sapphira to her own devices while checking in like multiple times a day. I think that consistency will allow them to just grow more comfortable with each other and eventually it blossoms into Sapphira trusting her as she processes her grief and following that the two being friends? Thoughts and opinions?

So for shadowfog/murder investigation, I remember someone saying that either councillors or militia had the best wizards and technicians looking for an answer. I'm pretty sure it's shadowfog. But anyways, I have my OC Andre who's an old ass very skilled wizard and I feel like that would include him. Who mentioned that? And are you interested in discussing Andre in researching that?

yeah, figured i'd plan it ahead of time. I did notice a tiny inconsistency cause it will take Sapphira time to adjust to Lala since her mistrust of nobles. But I think with Lala is kind and caring and checks in a lot initially her guard will drop when they start spending more time together. And that sounds fine for Lala's mask as well.

the only thing in my mind is like a pretty black and glowy warm pastel aesthetic lol. although, i'm already working on an OC for another plan.

yeah so, at some point, the arranged marriage is announced. they are rushed into the marriage. I don't think i'm gonna to the Helm thing. in the marriage she fall in love with him but he won't end up falling for her. he gets her pregnant then starts secretly planning the divorce once she gives him an heir. she finds out, tells her parents, and then her dad gets angry cause that broke the arranged marriage agreement. Delacroix-Seavey alliance is off. Melody is forced to be divorced from Draven while she loves him. her dad hires a guard to keep her safe that he's worked with before and the guard is her HEA.
most of that is like ish timeliney obvi. I feel like it would be drama if Esmerelda doesn't get the child and I love that XD what do you think? and don't feel bad to critique cause i'm still figuring out some of the details.
well... i don't think draven would just plan to divorce her without saying anything. my og plan was that they mutually decided to break it off. also.. ngl, when he finds out she' pregnant, he'd prob panic. tbh, might be a major point of his arc, not wanting his child to grow up the way he did.

alright, so... he doesn't love her, but also, he goes through with the marriage for a reason. i feel like at first, he's just like, this is just the way it has to be, but then... idk, between him falling in love with august, and having a kid, and maybe other stuff, he ends up deciding that he isn't going to just take it all anymore? but i just feel like when it comes to divorce, that would be something he would prob talk to her about? also, his mother is gonna be so furious. welcome to house delacroix. yeah, and draven's not only always been ace, but then i think there's some trauma around that as well tbh...
that could work out? he gets too stressed about the kid and not loving her and just doesn't want to be married anymore? maybe he would? or maybe before he gets around to talking she finds out and overreacts and things play out? that sounds like something in harry potter XD. we'll find out?

I’m kinda up in the air about august, he can fit in wherever you want. When we start their roleplay after the market we can get a better idea but I had no real plans for him yet aside from being there when the rescue party goes for cal/that whole scare for him but after that nothing
alright, on the councilor colab, maybefor the one character idea I have, I was thinking an outgoing kinda flirty girl who can also fight. maybe sort of Nina zenik vibes? (trying to think of a well-known char with similar vibes lol). also, I was thinking maybe Whitney Peak for a fc. but if that doesn't work, I can totes use her smth else, and maybe make someone else.

So, I have some characters who could use some collaborations!
1.) Avaliyah November Thorne I would love for her to eventually find true love, because she was cruelly dumped a few years ago with no explanation and is now being ignored by said ex (my fault, cal's a b***h sometimes), but I feel like it would be nice if she found someone. She's bi, but I prefer her with a girl. It would probably be more slow burn because she's still a tad heartbroken over her ex. I also would love for her to somehow get involved in the plot, whether it be family drama or noble drama, we'll see. Oh and her brother is still open
2.) Caledonia Rosa Hayden
Aesthetic Redo Again. Girl needs an enemy, aside from like. Alianna, who is absent atm. Idk. Need another mortal enemy. Loathes Serpentine with every bone in her body but yeah. Who knows where that will lead, honestly, but still.
3.) Andrew Skyler Westlake I'd love for my shy art teacher to eventually have a boyfriend (he's pan but needs a man), or even some close friends, bc he's very lonely. Or, he also had a past with Serpentine so drama is always great too.
4.) Coleson Garrett Rogers. He has problems with getting close to people because of trauma where his girlfriend has been killed, so a very much slow-burn romance could work for him? where he learns to open up and such a little more. Or, someone could make his vain twin sister, who knows.
5.) Valencia Ekene Díaz-Kimathi. She could always use some friends or exes! She has Solaea in the future for a girlfriend though! She also has some younger siblings
6.) Katniss Vanora Winters She has a girlfriend so...open lol
Idk!! These are just ideas and blueprints so if anyone has any collabs they'd want to do, listed ideas or not, with them or other characters I didn't list, lmk!!

i have near zero ideas for my asterath councilor thus far but i want her to be around the same age as the majority of the voxthain councilors and a pot-stirrer because i want in on the drama. she could be a slowburn romance option in there somewhere?
