I like that! I did say in her history that she just somehow became a councillor XD so this kinda fits it perfectly. A massive miscommunication sounds like a great idea in my opinion. If he was too busy and his old mind forgot she was his responsibility, then that would make what's happening in the RP with Cal not a lie since she's clueless in that.
If he forgot then they'd probably meet for the first time when he gives condolences after her fathers death? Maybe he'll have a massive realization moment?

honestly, not much! cal (@elizabeth) is about to get kidnapped by club serpentine, michael (@alpha) is getting murdered by bodhi (@rory) and that’s about all that’s happening (runalithe squad is in the background)! once these are done, the gala will happen :) (it’s masked as well)

The main plot currently is Runalithe beginning to realize that living beings have more magic to siphon than the land, which is what they'd originally intended on draining, hence Bodhi killing a man right now for his magic. There are many relationship-building side-plots going on that I don't even have much knowledge on, as this group very active! A good thing, but I myself am lost and have a hard time reading every roleplay that happens. But that's the main plot. We're moving it forward with this murder and another I have planned with Bodhi. My Asterath Councilor Ceonrei and Elizabeth's Voxthain Councilor Caledonia got into a spat when Ceonrei caught Caledonia in the Asterath fighting ring, which resulted in the rumor mill spreading around that a Voxthain Councilor was frequenting the fighting ring. Ceonrei went back to apologize, hoping Cal hadn't been fully driven away, and will soon find out Serpentine kidnapped her. Isabella and I have the Serpentine Head and Rattler who are going to torture her for information! So, thing there is that we've given a few weeks give or take for roleplays. By this point there have been a few deaths, so a couple weeks after Bodhi starts his first few that I'm roleplaying, so Serpentine is being blamed. For their natural cunning and evil tendencies, it wouldn't be far from their norm. But the bodies are shriveled beyond most recognition, which leads to questions of how these people are dying. Serpentine themselves are kidnapping Cal for information because they are not the ones doing it and they'd like to know who is because they would feel threatened in their seat at the top of the evil chain.
That could be an awful explanation and if I missed anything, someone please jump in and help 👹

Hmm do you want them to know each other or do you want them to be strangers from the get go?
They would be familiar with one another's existence, realistically, if he frequented the saloon as often as she does, but maybe actually conversing could be a new thing?

Azi had a severely traumatic experience with fake friends and the rumor mill in school when she was younger, so her fathers pulled her from school. She's very much a loner with one friend, but I think I mentioned that she wants more connections, but just finds it hard to actually do.
