Yeah, Evelyn and Alianna probably wouldn't have interact with her each much. But they would probably get along since she acts like a typical Delacroix lol. But she truly does have a kind side, she just feels like she would bring the Delacroix name down if she showed it more.

That's a really good point about the hospitals - completely makes sense that they're all under Thorne control! I think we can work with that corrupted administrator angle though? Maybe?
What if instead of focusing on hospitals, Kieran works at the intersection where Thorne medical resources meet other noble houses? Like maybe he discovered that some medical supplies were being diverted or misused by other houses for less noble purposes (like the Calicos using healing crystals for jewelry instead of medical equipment, or something like that).
And yeah, the gambling den would need to work differently without money - maybe it's trading in favors, secrets, or rare magical items instead? That could actually make it more interesting!
I think you're right that Avaliyah would appreciate the uncovering of corruption part - maybe that's something they could bond over if they reconnect? The tension could come from his methods rather than his goals, which would make for interesting family dynamics I think!

The calicos would absolutely do something like that too, they and the seaveys and Delacroix’s are the worst lol and very classist and traditional in many senses, they’d totally use medical equipment for like. Potions or poisons (well one would) or take like, pain medications because they want them lol. At least some members would so that’s actually a really fun idea
I like that too actually! And that’s something that, yeah, avaliyah wouldn’t like and neither would her mother so that could add some tension as well. And yes! Agreed about them bonding over that if they reconnect but having tension over some methods. Like. If she knew calicos or someone noble was using equipment in a bad way, she’d want it to stop, and she can abide by some morally questionable methods, but I think gambling would leave a bad taste in her mouth haha
No worries! I'm just coming into the group and want to work with what's already there and developed rather than making people feel like I'm running the show. I should have really looked through the other characters before starting on him!

I think this gives Kieran and Avaliyah an interesting dynamic - they share core values about helping people, but his methods would definitely create some family tension.
Maybe we can wait to see if the mods approve of this direction before I get started on making his full character sheet? I'm excited about the potential here!

And Ash, I know this group has a lot going on and that there are many pre-existing things to get information on, but I promise there's a place here for you. I know people tend to worry that they're unwelcome in older groups that have a lot of pre-established plots and dynamics, but we truly have so many areas that need characters and dynamics worked out! Just wanted to offer that reassurance, I really appreciate how receptive and understanding you are about things! 🧡

@Elizabeth - I'm glad the updated concept works! I'm really liking how Kieran is shaping up as a character with connections to your Thorne family while still having his own distinct path. And thanks for the face claim feedback - Rome Flynn feels perfect for the character I'm envisioning!
I'm looking forward to getting the official green light from the mods so I can start building out Kieran's full character sheet.

And before she left, Alianna probably disliked how kind and shy Aiden was, but she acted sweet to his face or when in public, but if she did bully him she probably blackmailed or threatened him to keep quiet
Artemisia probably wants to get close to him because she also adores school and is a kinder person but worries he hates her for not being his mothers daughter
@Kyleigh do you wanna work on Aiden and Alex's relationship? Alex is... something else lol. also, Alex also excels at math and science, so they have that in common. Alex was potentially a part of why Aiden may have made some of those enemies in cogworks tho...

I can totally see Alianna acting like that in front him. He wanted to tell Eadric and Elara how terrible of a person she is, but he knows that they wouldn't believe since they adore her so much.
I can get by that! He doesn't hate Artemisia, just the fact that she's not Elara's daughter. Maybe they can have some type of conversation about it?
