I think it depends on the drama you want and what family you want him raised in though. If you wanted the drama with the calicos I think he’d have to be raised by Eadric somehow?

1.) Eadric and the wife’s kid, so maybe he’d be more 19 in that case, or talk to snail about twins
2.) Eadric and unmarried noble—gasp, scandal, so Eadric raises kid and wife either doesn’t know or does and is pissed but says nothing?
3.) married noble, and husband is angry so wants kid with Eadric?
4.) not even a noble mother, and so mother had Eadric raise the kid bc she didn’t want him? Or lack of wealth to do so?

@Elizabeth, BellaIsley is completed yippee! I didn't have the kind of time I wanted to put into her backstory, so I feel like it's especially uninspired compared to what I had in mind. But at least she's finished finally. Let me know if I missed anything! I probably took a few liberties in there somewhere, so it's not a problem if I need to change anything :)

Also Bella! I think Andrew, my art teacher, probably respects and values Athena. Like he is glad to have an assistant bc he’s not the best at the music component, and he’s also probably very encouraging of her in her band or something. Like he’s a very kind person and genuinely wants all his students to succeed, so that would extend to his coworkers as well so long as they’re not asses yknow?
sounds good. and so athena is probably cool with him, since he's so nice and all. and they prob get along pretty well.

totally random, but what if the delacroix sisters (ie. aelin's voxthain councilor, my music teacher, and their currently unmade sister) were cousins of Melody and her brothers? like, the delacroix sister's mother was a seavey? idk, just me thinking about the delacroixs' and seaveys' tendencies to marry other nobles. and @aelin, what do you think?

okay, they have a healthy relationship in basically the part where physical abuse and torture is not tolerated (hence the bully cousin being disowned). the Seavey's may disagree with the tradition of removing the daughters form the family name when they marry them off but that's tradition for generations. although, I doubt the brothers will follow that when Melody is married off.
but yeah, the Seavey's sure have that connection genetically but do they care about it? absolutely not. they don't really need it in their eyes so they aren't gonna reach out for important matters and build lasting relationships like your used to.
