They do not have deities or a set religion, really. It is touched on in one sentence within the general timeline section in the Additional Information topic. "Luxians generally do not fear death, as they believe in the magical cycle of all living things." This is the closest to religion they come, choosing to believe they will live in magic forever and that it preserves their souls.

They make city decisions and lead. They're like any other Luxian, if they have honed and practiced magic, they can wield it. None of them are specifically more powerful than anyone else, they were just elected by the people due to their leadership, confidence, or what they can offer the city. Most were already known as leaders in the city, doing public projects, advocating and making their voice heard, that sort of thing.
So, similar to Arcane? Every decision is a majority vote.

Yes, but they do not have any experience with it whatsoever. So it truly would be curiosity and some very shameful attempts. 😂 They rely on technology, as they are advanced enough that their tech can do almost anything an Asterath or Voxthain person's spells or magic can.

See, I originally created her for a story (which I actually still plan to write at some point), but in that she's a witch. XD

like I gave her an alias and she lies to the team, but like...oh no? she loves her magic HAHA but also, she does like tech and science so maybe she just hides what she can do, or is clean with the crew about the fact she lived in voxthain but hates it

well I don't know, because on one hand, she could hide the magic, that's fine. but on the other hand, she'd have so much information about voxthain that could help people, so unless she comes up with some reason why she knows it, she'd have to come clean? Or just not share the information

she's for sure the type to easily hide magic abilities even if she uses them, so yeah that is the question. maybe she would come clean about that but be VERY clear she hates them all? i dunno it feels weird that with her character that she'd tell them that but if it's for her own personal gain in the end, probably yeah

Oops! I'm so sorry, I missed that.
There are seven council members. They were elected in years and years in the past and since then, whenever one steps down or dies or gets removed because they did something bad, anyone can step forward to take their place and the citizens and nobility will vote on who takes their place. It's a moving system.
They make every decision together, such as how to control crime if there is any, what kind of public projects to do, how to help their people and keep everyone's needs met. All seven are normal people and can have any sort of powers, they're not more "powerful" than anyone, as their election has nothing to do with their abilities magic-wise and more their leadership and how they help their city.

she is. and that could work? and yeah, that's the thing, she does hate them, so maybe she makes up a story that she visited the place and fell in love with someone from there so she knows some stuff about it, just to explain why she knows things, because she doesn't want to give everything away
