I am so thrown by reading Talk To Me first. Sean is a supervisor in that one (if I remember correctly) and in this one he's brand new. It's just throwing me for a loop right now.
I just "cheated" and searched for Chase. they aren't mentioned until Page 311 and it states "dealing with Max and Chase last year", so maybe this goes for a long time?

ETA: I definitely would have cheated too, and now I don’t have too.
The other thing that confuses me is the series is named "Sloan Brothers", but there isn't a Sloan in this book. It's Pierce and Miller.
Also, it seems like Ben is a habitual rule breaker. Apparently dated a coworker once already....

OMG. I want to smack Joel. Got to see a little of what their relationship is like. Its very much me and Jeremy. He's very much go with the flow and I'm very much plan and agenda and ideas of what to do. We compromise a lot when we travel cause he would travel like Joel and I couldn't do that.
I see a friendship coming between Ben and Sean because of him so that's good.

Chapter 8. This tension between the two of them is getting ridiculous. I can see how Ben need someone to take care of him a little and Sean needs some stabilization. But the jealousy is getting to me a bit. You can be friendly with coworkers and still keep the boss/employee relationship intact.
The slightly Dom/Sub (at least so far) is not mentioned anywhere or tagged. I bit surprised when it came out and seems to be more than just a slight mention.

Sorry??
Matthew, Roan, Joel, Brock, Angel along with Ben and Sean. Those seem to be the important ones.
So far I think this is better than the first one. Maybe due to the length, they didn't feel like they had to pack an entire relationship in so few pages?

Ok. I know who the mole is and Ben's breakdown almost made me cry.
I was surprised about the mole's partner, but I really think there are two players and one puppetmaster...I'm at 80%, so lets see if I'm right.
I also think Jaz might be part of something.....maybe an investigator of some sort???

OK. I was right about the mole, but not about the puppet master.
Mr Odell turned out to be an ok guy.
Oh. I also know who the next "Sloan" brother to get a book should be...but I don't think its gonna happen.

I knew it.
Also my first pairing might be kinda right....

This is much better than the first—there’s lots more going on at work and in their personal lives, especially with Ben, Roan, and Matthew.
I like the workplace intrigue.
I think the light bdsm is kind of shoehorned in, but it’s not bad. I’m not really feeling the sexy stuff—it’s not bad or anything, but I wouldn’t call it super hot.
Also call TJ as the mole (though I wanted Joel gone).
I would read Matthew and Roan’s book.
Sean, Ben, Roan, Joel, and Brock are all the same name. I think that’s why it felt like a lot of characters at first.
There is a book 3 that I didn't know was there and it was the last pairing I thought it was.
Also, last chapter gives a hint at Roan's book, but I'm not sure its actually coming. It did say 2024, but we are almost done and I haven't seen it

All in all, this was a pretty solid book that I’m glad I read. Thanks, buddy!
