help pls

right so this is the same guy it’s been about for a while but i need some advice rn that involves my best friend.
basically if u don’t know me me and my best friend like the same guy who we call cherry i also like a guy who we call strawberry (who i’ve had a crush on for nearly a yr) who she’s now also finding fit. me and cherry talk a bit in person but literally never by messages but i think we have bit of chemistry and he wants to know stuff about me (idk if that’s just me or if that’s him just being nice or what). but she used to talk to him loads on messages but not much in person. he’s also rlly friendly with lots of people. so she told him tn that she liked him and he said he didn’t like her like that but that he also wasn’t interested in getting in a relationship in yr 11 due to exams and stuff. he said that he would reconsider her in yr12 if she still liked him. i’m actually quite jealous (which is my own fault) but she thinks he likes me (when i was walking home yesterday him and 3 of his friends went past me and him and the guy he was stood next to were silent and staring at me and when they got past me he said to the other kid i’m gonna kill u (which i say when somebody starts saying something near somebody i like) i dunno if this is me just reaching or what) but i feel like i’d be an asshole if he did like me and we were together. but the thing is she doesn’t follow or believe in girl code (looking at her with others and from experience) and told me she was completely okay with me making a move on this guy. ik that if anything did happen she would be rlly bossy about it (she was a big reason me and my ex broke up (she didn’t like him)) and i don’t want it to happen again but also don’t wanna pass up on him if he likes me. be brutally honest i rlly need help rn 😭

@luli ngl i wouldn’t normally be okay with me it but it doesn’t bother me with her coz neither of us are gonna have a chance and she doesn’t follow girl code anyway so even if i wasn’t okay with it she’d still do it. if she doesn’t follow it i’m not gonna with her anyway
