Dominique, do you have a preference on month for One of Us Is Lying?Charlotte, I'll put all of your suggestions on November for now with a note you're open. Darker Shade of Magic will be confirmed for December of course.
Updated
I know it’s probably low chance, but would someone be interested in reading Healing Back Pain: The Mind-Body Connection with me? I struggle with non-fiction so having a buddy to read this one would help. 😊Open to any month.

I would like to suggest The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafiby S.A. Chakraborty for November ou December. I am ok with both. Thanks

I think so, could we read the first book and see if I like it?
And I have it on hold on Libby, but there is an 18 week wait... so I may not get it in time unless I get really lucky...
We could delay until Nov or Dec and I’m good waiting until we read the first book to decide if it’s worth continuing.

Sorry I just saw the message. Anytime is good for me.
Susan wrote: "We could delay until Nov or Dec and I’m good waiting until we read the first book to decide if it’s worth continuing."Thanks! I can let you know a few weeks before my book comes in so that we can plan it for the next month, although if everyone keeps it for the maximum amount of time I may be getting it in January :' (

I'm also fine with anytime lol, Susan, do you have a preference?

Okay, guess we can push it off until December and then play it by ear? Hopefully people read it fast and turn it back in. I never hold onto books longer than necessary...especially electronic books. Wish everyone were as considerate.

Yeah, thanks for understanding. If anyone else signs up, you guys can definitely go ahead and read it without me, if you don't want to wait (which I totally get) :-)
I always turn the books that I am done with back in as soon as I can, but I totally agree that lots of people don't, and it is quite annoying lol.
UpdatedI will say I've been guilty of not returning ebooks right away because nowadays it makes you go into your amazon account and delete it from there (if reading on a kindle app), which I sometimes just forget to do if I'm not in front of a computer!
Some of us will be continuing with the Scythe series next month with Thunderhead if anyone else wants in.

That's fair lol, but at least it's an innocent mistake then.

That's annoying, I use Libby mostly for my ebooks....it's pretty easy to turn them back in from there.

Yeah, same. I have tried to read them on kindle, but I agree that it is a pain, so I just read it directly from Libby now.
I'd love to join, but I'm going to have to say no because I can't get it on Libby for several months lol.

I will be backing out of The Count of Monte Cristo unfortunately. I am in the worst, months long, book slump of my life and won’t be getting on with a huge Classic like that anytime soon.
Hello SarahKat. Remove me from the Sisters of the lost nation. I won’t be able to get the book before a few months. The other books are fine
Thanks
I see you already created the thread. No worries. I’ll let people know directly.
SarahKat, would you please remove me from the Charlie Parker series? I'm so far behind with it (at least 3 months), and I don't see myself prioritizing the books to catch up. Thanks!
Hi! I want to join the buddy read "That's not my name," suggested by Charlotte, and I want to read it in November. I also want to join "The Frozen River" in December. Thanks!
A few books I'll be reading in November; would love some company!Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson
Trust Me When I Lie by Benjamin Stevenson
Fearless and Free: A Memoir by Josephine Baker
SarahKat - You can remove me from the Charlie Parker series buddy reads. I would like to continue the Cotton Malone series if there is someone still reading them with me. Thanks!
Beth wrote: "A few books I'll be reading in November; would love some company!"Beth, I will join you in reading Fearless and Free: A Memoir and Tress of the Emerald Sea.
I’ve never heard about Josephine Baker before, but I looked her up now and it seems she was such a strong and vivid personality. I’m curious to learn more about her now, especially about the espionage!
Sydney wrote: "Can I join the frozen river in December?"And I’d also love to join The Frozen River in Dec. Thank you, SarahKat!
