I have no clue how to use the discussion board—I'm new to Good Reads. I just love this book because it is curious and fun to read. It's been a good change of pace from graduate studies if you all have other recommendations of books that help you unwind, LMK!

I'm unsure if you're still looking for recommendations now but whilst I had been under much stress the last month, I had read Yoko Ogawa's "The Professor and the Housekeeper". Perhaps that's not the name of the novel, I don't quite remember, but it's short and sweet. It is about mathematics, if that turns you off, but there isn't any REAL plot to it, it's just spending time with some pleasant characters for 150 pages.
