Josie is on suspension because she significantly elbowed a woman arrested for trying to pimp out her four-year old daughter for drugs, breaking two teeth. Despite the department being overwhelmed with two teen abductions, four murders and one man severely wounded, the chief won’t temporarily reinstate her until her suspension is over. Was that the right thing to do or shortsighted?

I thought the Chief was being shortsighted in not reinstating Josie. After finding out the circumstances of her suspension I was really mad he wouldn't reinstate her, especially since the department really needed her.
