noemi | 23 comments I can listen pretty much to anything, but if I really enjoy the book, I'll buy a physical copy and read it instead of listening

iain | 0 comments I’ve never listened to a book.
Much prefer to have a physical book always

George Stenger | 99 comments I listen to all genre of books. I work in my yard and garden daily and always listen to an audiobook. It's easy to follow the story.

Sam (samanthacoo) | 25 comments Love listening more to like self help books and memoir books because it’s usually narrated by the author. Reading though I love romance, fantasy, mystery and thriller, etc

iain | 0 comments I’m not one for romance I’m a book tbh, I much prefer a horror book or fantasy something like that

message 6: by Ashby (new)

Ashby Dodd (ashbydodd) | 97 comments Anything narrated by Edoardo Ballerini - I've never been a fan of a narrator before, but after he read several audiobooks I happened to pick (because of the title or author), I am definitely a fan. I actually decided to listen to a book, which I had no interest in otherwise, just because he was the narrator. I swear I could listen to that voice tell me any story, from any time period, and from any genre...

Kindle Jenner | 90 comments If I’m going to listen to a book, which is not my preference, I prefer autobiographies read by the author. Trevor Noah’s Born a Crime is my go to recommendation for an audiobook.

Abigail Christian | 2 comments Listening to a thriller or a murder mystery is so much easier to comprehend then reading it for me. i can read and fly through a fantasy or romance no problem, for some reason those other genres give me an issue

message 9: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa (vanessacumberlandcountypa) I like most anything on audio. The narrator can truly add to the enrichment of the book. I'm listening to a book now narrated by Davina Porter--she's superb!

Gypsy (ignited_red_queen) | 25 comments I pretty much listen to the same as I physically read. but I love full cast audiobooks

I also like listening to books while doing manual labour. I am renovating my house now and audio books keep me company

I also love listening to memoirs. I am currently listening to Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner. It's very sad but also very beautiful.

That's very interesting! I don't think I have a favourite narrator, but I agree that it makes all the difference. I've had instances where I gave up on some audio books because I didn't like the narrator's style or voice! Do you have any recommendations on audio books narrated by Edoardo Ballerini?

I've wanted to read this one for a while, I'll take it as a sign that it's now time to do so :D

If I'm not mistaken, she narrated the Outlander series! What are you listening to at the moment?
