📚NOVEMBER 2024 Dusty Bookshelf Challenge:💈



Please post your shelves. NO COMMENTS in this thread please. You can add discussion comments after pairs are posted.

How It Works:
1) Please post up to 10 books that you would like to read this month.
*minimum 5 books.

2) CHOOSE TURTLE (one book) or HARE (two books) to indicate your reading speed so your picker will know whether to choose one book or two books.

3) An assigned person will pick ONE or TWO BOOKS (depending on the indicated reading speed) from your shelf.

4) BONUS BOOK: Specify "another book from my shelf" OR Pick a Genre and the assigned person will pick a book from the GOODREADS Choice Award book list for that specific genre.

5) You have one month: NOVEMBER 2024 to try to read the chosen books. (*if you don't read your book(s) this month, it's okay because this challenge is for YOUR ENJOYMENT)

5) Please try to select for your pair ASAP as we all get excited and waiting is torture to some.

***Cut off on OCTOBER 28th
OCTOBER 29th-30th: Pairs will be posted & then selection of the books and posting it for the person you are choosing for
*Again, as I said earlier, please try to select for your pair ASAP.

ETA 11-04-24: I read "Weird Things" and it was a big disappointment. I expected a nonfiction STORY about working in a bookstore with customer anecdotes, not text message or tweet style. Read through this in probably less than an hour.

ETA 11-11-24: "Every Last Secret" started out slow, but got twisty toward the middle and turned into a 4-star read. :)

ETA 11-28-24: Really enjoyed "The Girl Beneath the Sea", fast-paced and mature, interesting character.
