Any struggling students who want to rant about school??

I'm a high school senior and the struggle is truly on right now lol!! If you are in school/college and want to give tips and advice or just talk about your struggles in school feel free!! Personally, I'm currently in the midst of applying to colleges and literally on the verge of dying so that's nice.

I’m in my 3rd year college and I remember when I was so so excited to get in, and I was so happy and grateful I did. Buttt, boy, little did I know. High school is supposed to be easier than college, but I honestly wish I could go back (minus all the traumatizing experiences please). It feels like immediately I resume I’m swamped with projects, deadlines and my skin just finds it so convenient to break out. I’m sure when I leave I’d be like college was so fun, and it is, sometimes. Overall, I blame my overachieving side.

I’m in online school and a junior and my grades are shit, there’s no way I’ll catch up and I’m kinda just letting my grades drop atp :) and I’m so lonely with online I have no one to talk to abt school 😙

Online school is actually so bad for most students!! There's still plenty of time left in the school year you never know might be able to bring them up :)) I'm so down to talk with you about school anytime!! Granted we don't go to the same school lol

wow, am I the youngest one here? Im a seventh grader and i really dont like my social studies teacher but i passing with a 94 and im getting extra credit in english for reading but somehow i still have a 84 when im supposed to have a 95 soo......

Currently, I'm taking 2 different math classes every day. While I love math, it's killing me mentally. I hold myself to very high standards, so feeling myself struggle is a little overwhelming. Everyone else has very high expectations of me as well. No matter the subject, people assume I grasp it easily. I'm expected to be the validictorian.

Ok so my school is selling candy grams. It's just some candy in a brown bag but anyway. So, like I'm guessing my two friends were talking to each other and my ex told my friend we're going to call them K and M, so K and M we're talking he told K the shut the f up and said something to M. Mind you that M is telling me all of this. Guys what should I do? Should I say something to him or leave it be? My grandmother told me not to say anything but I'm a Sagittarius so I'm going to say something. What do I do?

@bella, that's so true😭. Rn as the topper of my class, all the teachers expect me to get great marks in all subjects, and this just makes me feel pressurized, I just wanna be like other students, without much expectations from parents or teachers. A few months ago, I didn't get good marks in a class test so the teacher was scolding me and I just felt overwhelmed. Cmon, just because I'm good at a few subjects doesn't mean that I'll have to do great in other subjects and the worst thing is that the teacher insulted/scolded me in front of the entire class and I just felt humiliated and pressurized.

I’m a hs sophomore and I have such a love/hate relationship with beginning history/english smart rather than math/science smart. I’m doing amazing in my honors english class and in my apush class but I feel like these strengths are pushed aside because I struggle in my math and science classes and I feel like, no matter how many papers get me an A I will never be seen as intelligent as the sophomores in my class taking chem and trigonometry.

I’m a freshman in high school and I’m so stressed. I’m in a play and it’s tech week(meaning I have rehearsal after school everyday till like 7 at night). Opening night’s on Friday and I know what I’m doing but we just switched our lead role and the tech crew and run crew is slacking. On top of all that, it’s finals for quarter-length courses and midterms for semester-length ones. I’m struggling in Spanish and honors physics. The only time I have a ‘break’ is when I’m doing theater because it’s fun and is pretty much the best thing in my life rn but it’s gonna be over in less than two weeks which is really sad but that isn’t really a break because it’s a lot of work and it’s a lot of pressure because if I mess it up, I mess everyone up. And then I know I have to pass my classes and keep up good grades and stuff for graduation credits and so I’m eligible for theater. I feel like my teachers can’t understand that we have a life outside of school and they just add in at the end of class like ‘oh yeah you have two projects due tomorrow, get the paper with the information for them on the way out! Have a great day!’. Like I don’t have time for that. I’m at school till seven as it is and I need to go to bed at a reasonable time.

I get soooo mad whenever I get anything under an A 😭. Like even A- bcuz the lowest grade I’ve ever gotten was a 89 in middle school. And bro math this year makes no sense and my Spanish teacher doesn’t do anything, like we just read books and do packets alll the time time 😮‍💨

Im in my final year in IB and holy shit it’s killing me. I’ve been recently diagnosed with adhd as well and I can’t currently access medication so it’s very hard for me. On top of that I’m managing work along my studies so my mental state is a whole different realm right now 💀🧌
