Hi Paula

There is a lot more wrong with this book than a missing page count & atm there are only two librarians going back to try to catch up on missing page counts.

When the Moderator comes back from maternity leave I'm going to ask her to make a stickied post saying unknown author requests shouldn't go in this folder.

If your book has issues please post in the Book Issues & Author Pages folder https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

as I am no longer doing more complex requests. As mentioned in the stickied post for this folder, you need to quote the ISBN

The page count can be done there at the same time.

Your understanding is appreciated.

Paula | 197 comments So what do you want me to do? Shall I move this to the Book Issues & Author Pages folder?

>>you need to quote the ISBN<<

i don't understand

Yes. This is only possible in the desktop view of the site.

Most folders in this group have a stickied post, saying the information volunteer librarians require to complete a request.

Here is the one for page counts.

The ISBN is the book's identifier. The ISBN13 starts with 978 or 979.

If your book is older (from the early 1970's or earlier) & doesn't have an ISBN you need to state that as well.

Paula | 197 comments ty, this is a mess. I know what an ISBN is, I put it in the box on top of this post. I'm going to move this into CLOSED and start from scratch.
