My names Nellie, and I just wrote my first book.

So, I just wrote a sci-fi/fantasy novel and published in on KDP. It is already up for pre-sales and will be available to read for free on Kindle Unlimited on 11/1/24.

The story is about a young man named Alex who wakes up one morning to discover he has a System. The odd thing about his System is that it requires him to activate Systems for other people. And some of the Systems are based on parts of the personality of his friends and family that he has no clue about...

I started trying to write this book almost 2 years ago and I finally came back to it. I've got the 1st one published and a plan for the book series. While it starts on Earth, I do intend to have my characters travel to the stars eventually.

I have been a fan of webnovels translated from Japanese, Korean and Chinese for the last 5 to 10 years and one of the rare things that annoyed me about some of them was how the main character that ended up with some kind of cheat or 'specialness' about him was always leaving his original family and friends behind because they were so much weaker than him and wouldn't be able to keep up with them.

After reading enough novels like that, I really liked the idea of a main character that enabled others to become that cheat...so that is what I wrote. I can only hope and pray that the story I decided to tell resonates with people and they find enjoyment from it.
