Overall, I enjoyed the book very much. It kept my attention and was easy to want to pick up. I do feel like some characters were a bit sterotypical but also feel like it was intentional and part of the whole point of the story. I liked that while it did deliver a very strong point with strong emotions, it was also very clear that the thoughts, feelings, and opinions were from a specific point of view and may not cover anyone else's thoughts, feelings, and opinions. I think it is okay to do that in a book. It is their story. There is not always a need to try to explain the story from other points of view. The story was absolutely heartbreaking but very inspiring to watch the main character find her voice.
