Matt’s extended family is rocked by the threat of a scandal which he tries to suppress whilst at the same time as he and India are trying to work out who is sending threatening letters to magicians and stirring up trouble between magicians and the artless. Willie, Cyclops and Duke also played a larger role in the previous few books, and I loved seeing how they interacted and the banter between them. This book followed the same formula as the others in this series, but as it was a very easy, fast-paced read that I found very engaging.
