Another thing I didn't like is the way Meira mentions her love to Mather. Girl, I got you're in love. Just go and tell him, I'm boreeeedd..

I also couldn’t finish “dirty Dom” by willow winters because the writing was so bad I hated it. Will never pick up a book by her again that’s for sure!

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens - I just really, really did not get into this book. I believe I DNF'd at least 60% of the way in, but I just could not care less about how it ended.
Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr - it just moved SOOOO slowly, like, 50% of the way through and one of the main characters was still in the exact same place he started, doing the exact same thing kind of slow.
Prophet Song by Paul Lynch won a Booker because it's, apparently, an 'exhilarating, terrifying and propulsive... work of breathtaking originality'. I have seen more originality in my peanut butter toast breakfast, and it read more like babies first introduction to fascism. Main character was not realistic, AT ALL, and there were no quotation marks, very few page breaks, and the prose was so ANNOYING. I definitely wouldn't recommend this book the most out of the ones I've DNF'd, only eye-opening if it is your first day opening your eyes to anything that has happened in the world, ever.
