Bella The Bookworm (bellabuchanan) | 4 comments Hey! I’ve never done an arc read before, but I love writing reviews (which are typically very long lol). I am on the review crew for my library also. I review on Goodreads, and I would love to do an arc.

My preferences: I will read anything! There’s not really a genre that I dislike except maybe dark romance?? I would prefer books with little to no spice. My favorite genres are fantasy and mystery, but again, I am open to any genre.

I definitely have a preference for physical books and I tend to enjoy/value them more when I annotate, but ebooks will work as well.

Hi, Bella!

I'm searching for reviewers for my debut novel and was wondering if you'd be interested. It is a character-based, humorous young adult novel about runaways. There is zero spice, no gore, and no blasphemous or explicit language. However, there are heavy themes of suicide and mental illness, as well as some violence.

Blurb:

Being a little broken doesn’t mean you’re not needed. Sometimes, your imperfect pieces are the perfect fit for someone else’s fractures.

One runaway is looking for love in all the wrong places (specifically Colorado).

One has the weight of the world on his shoulders (but saves room for his raven).

One is fleeing from the sole thing she can never escape (herself).

When Kyro chances upon one of these outcasts, his plans are thrown out. He knows he deserves a death sentence, but he can’t ignore his new friend’s desperation.

See, while Kyro played a part in a gut-wrenching crime, he’s still a goofball with a bleeding heart. There’s a good chance that joining his friend—and two other eccentric runaways—on a cross-country road trip is the only way he’ll save her life. All he has to do is lie low until he can carry out his suicide. It’s not that complicated, right?

Sound like something you might like? Send me an email: annetsocial4@gmail.com

Thanks!

Blurb:
Kanara never meant to kill her mother. A lifetime in prison awaits her. But the judge gives her a break and sentences her to ten years at Zylen Mental Hospital.

At first glance, the hospital isn’t bad. The food is edible, the other patients don’t know about her crime, and Eliot, the intern assigned to her case, is gentle and kind, not to mention gorgeous.

But the hospital has a few secrets of its own.

Like the cryptic message on the wall in Kanara’s room, written in a cipher only she and her sister know.

And the new voice in her head that seems to be able to predict the future.

And the doctors whispering in secret that their experiment is failing, the patients are dying, and they’re all running out of time.

Jenn Rizzoto | 41 comments Hi, I'm currently looking for reviewers for this book:

Two Novellas

Two life-affirming stories of ordinary people in extraordinary situations.

The Golden Flyswatter takes us to a retro dive bar in Santa Monica, California, where young Natalie Schoenfeldt, an ingenue from Wisconsin, gets a job cocktailing. She soon realizes that the patrons are not who they seem, and Hollywood opportunities may not be either.

The Walk of Washington takes us to present-day Philadelphia, where a young filmmaker is playing piano to pay the rent. When he meets an older gentleman who looks a lot like Benjamin Franklin, the most excellent adventure of his young adult life begins.

I've emailed you, but in case it goes to spam, here are blurbs for three of my recent novels, all published in the past few months. If you're interested in reviewing any (or all) of them, I'll forward you ebook copies.

As the collapse accelerates, plucky pupil Ruth Duffy, semi-retired teacher Daphne Donaghy and heroic janitor Finbar Adams race for survival.
Written in the form of a failed documentary, Collapse is a disaster-thriller like no other.

Sara Bittner | 18 comments Hi, Bella!

I'm Sara, and I have ARC signups open for a romance between a merman and a lighthouse keeper (a woman) in the 1800s! There is very little spice and it's definitely not smut but it's super romantic and sweet. She's treated like an outcast because she has a job, fearlessly saves men, and is good at inventing, and he feels like a failed mermaid for not wanting to hurt others (because I based mermaids off dolphins and they're kind of awful lol). But together, they finally feel seen. 🥰

Reviews would ideally be posted on May 1st but you could let me know if you needed more time.

The Lighthouse Keeper and the Mermaid

Please fill out this form if you're interested! I can't do physical copies right now. I'm sorry 😭

Hi! Do you like urban fantasy? I'm looking for readers for my 3rd book in the series. I'm also offering to send the first two (one at a time) so you can get caught up. Which means, I'd understand if your review comes a little later than launch day.

Here's the blurb:
Since Hally’s fated-friend, Nolan, upended her exile mere months ago, they’ve saved the elven realm from a ruthless mage, a deadly curse, and a war with the fae. Now terrorists have struck the elven capital and the royals are being held hostage. It’s Hally and Nolan to the rescue, again.
Despite a family crisis in Paris, they’re forced to drop everything and scramble for an open portal as the network collapses. Every victory has a cost and as secrets surface and sacrifices mount, Hally and Nolan must ask themselves: can they save the realm without losing each other?
*picture on form is not part of the cover. Cover reveal will be August 23th.
Here's the sign up sheet.
