Please delete

I went to add an alternate edition of this book, as my copy has gold foiling for the thorns where the other covers show black.

Sadly I didn't realize my cover doesn't show up anywhere online and will require for me to scan it in (and hope it'll show the gold), and now the alternate edition is already showing even though I never saved it. I'm of course not allowed to change the cover, so this edition is currently moot and can be deleted.

The edition saying October 1 2024 is the latest one that should be deleted.

This had become a bit confusing as a bot very quickly added the same cover as the old edition to the new edition.
When using the Alternate Cover button is indeed immediately created the moment the system moves the ISBN/ASIN.

If you're going to scan your cover, I don't see a reason to merge these two edition now. I suggest when adding your cover image, write a clear change comment to explain the situation.

Yeah I noticed the same cover being added (wasn't me) and I was like 'welp now I can't change it anymore, why is this my life', haha! I'll see if I can scan the cover today and fix it!

I have added the right cover and page count & fixed the publishing date!

It's showing up right in the editions list and the app, but not yet entirely on the website, so I'm keeping an eye on it to be safe.
