I loved her Texas books! I found them during another challenge last year.

LeahS | 1360 comments Eventually I chose Emily Wilde's Map of the Otherlands (Emily Wilde, #2) by Heather Fawcett . Such a pretty cover needed celebrating. It was an excellent sequel to Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries; I nerdishly enjoy Emily's scholarly journal and her footnotes more than her actual trips into the Otherlands, where I suppose the final? part of the series will be set. Anyway it's on my list for next year.

Pax by Sara Pennypacker : an animal, trees and a yellow sun. A young adult story of a boy and his pet fox. I thought this was a very involving story, with a dystopian tinge to it. I liked the descriptions of fox life. A rather abrupt ending, but there is a sequel, which no doubt deals with that.

(Trumpet on cover)

Short and sweet review:
4.5
Good read, cute little rekindle love story. This book should of been a little longer. I love the college friendships they still had and to get a ring at the end is priceless. Just chefs kiss. The man said he wonder the world and she was right here.
