Olivia Round-Wood I’m almost finished book 3 and I will be reading book 4, however, I don’t know if I should read book 5. There are a lot of mixed opinions, and some people even go as far to say it ruined all of the characters for them because of how they treated Nesta.
When it comes to a characters POV I try and take everything with a pinch of salt but it seems everyone just hated every character after Nesta’s POV.
What should I do?
Also just to add, one of my biggest flaws when reading is I turn on characters so easily, I’ll like them one minute and then they’ll do one little thing and I’ll hate them.

Jackie yes, if your willing to see your favorite characters look like shit at times, and no if you'd like to see them in a good light. I think SJM did a phenomenal job of depicting how people in real world situations aren't nice when it comes to people that are healing and bring it up on themselves to intervene. In my opinion, the romance between Nesta and Cassian is one of my favorites I've read, far better than tams and feyres in the beginning of ACOTAR and better than feyres and Rhysands at the end of ACOMAF. It isn't sweet like the other two but is fierce and their personalities really show. Just prepare yourself to want to stop reading at some points because it can be hard to handle everything coming at you. If you do read reply to this and let me know how you like it!

Ragini no. read a summary version of the book if you must. This was a complete waste of time. Like many others in the review section - this book ruins the character arcs of many characters from the past 3 books and makes you hate all of them. I think Sarah J Maas has run out of ideas with this series. Books are an escape from real life - especially fantasy romance books. if i wanted real life i would go out and deal with idiots out in the world, which i already do daily. this one was a disappointment for me. it was almost a did not finish for me...i had to audiobook the rest of it on 2X speed because i cannot bear to not finish a book i had already given so much of my time.

RESHU YADAV Honestly No, you can tell the characters are the same but you are seeing them from a different persons POV, I personally loved the new characters introduced and Nesta's journey and even the IC, there are very funny Az moments as well, definitely recommend

Morgan Jensen This was my favourite book out of the whole series. I believe SJM next book will be about Nesta and I think it is an important read. It didn't change my opinion of any other character in the series because this book is about Nesta and her growth not how she was treated by the others. SJM is an excellent writer and knows exactly what she's doing.
This book is about depression and grief but also about finding yourself and allowing others to love you. As well as loving yourself. Don't go into it with anyone's opinion but your own.
