Ever since schools started i’ve been soooo unmotivated to read, does anyone have any tips? I’ve just been like forcing myself to read but it doesn’t hit the same as in the summer

Lily | 13 comments Set up before. Make yourself a nice warm drink, wrap up in a blanket somewhere comfortable and quiet, maybe put some soft music on in the background and put a lamp on rather than a bright light. I sometimes search up the book on tik tok to kind of hype myself up to read it too if I just can’t start reading

Sawyer | 14 comments I always try to find a fast paced book or a short one, I just got out of a reading slump and it was because of starting a really short book, Days at the Morisaki Bookshop, it’s like 150 pages, there’s also a second one that’s short so now I’m reading that and have been much more motivated to read

D1bs (kpdh's version)୧ try a booktok book! I really like the Powerless series 🫶 or u could try AGGGTM it had me hooked

♡ YellowBird ♡ | 10 comments I usually just reread a series that’s really fast paced and that I know I’ll enjoy.
