Just finished A Different Drummer by William Melvin Kelley. I enjoyed the structural creativity, different points of view, but it felt a bit wishy washy liberal white trash in the end. Possibly because I have been reading James Baldwin and Richard Wright, both powerful writers in terms of plot, characterization and themes. Interested in what others think.
