I read this because I liked Brenna in the second book, but maybe with age comes wisdom or something. This was tedious to get through. Just hated it.

He's so young looking and giggles like a little school boy. I could never believe that this man was almost 50. I've read some big age gaps before, but this one weirded me out for some reason.

I liked this better the second go around, but I still think the middle-end bit with Sam's wife went in an unnecessary direction. Communication...do it.

The timeline in this is weird and hard to follow. It feels like it jumps around, but I'm not sure it does...just strange. Also, there's no plot beyond the romance. There's nothing interesting happening in the background to keep my interest.

This was 100% the best book of the series so far. It felt like a more complete story than the other ones and part of that might have had to do with the fact there wasn't a bunch of extra characters running around taking up screen time.
