I plan on finishing my 1000+ page book today or tomorrow so loads of incoming points (works for a bunch of letters because there are so many characters so if you still need an E, it can be used soon) and then I will focus on reading a few shorter books on my list.
Thankfully, I am in the mood to read epic fantasy which tend to be longer books - yay for more points!

Running Wild
To Seduce a Sinner
Eyes of Silver Eyes of Gold
The Heartbreaker
Inked in Lies

our new word is MOWING LAWN and the 3, yes 3, mini challenges are up.
I've added the round 2 tab to the tracking sheet, but still working on the minis and will get those up at some point today. All minis start 10/26 and last through the rest of the challenge. Links to them are below and I will post in another reserved spot higher up so they don't get lost!

Keep in mind these are all optional. If you have any questions, let us know and we will answer or reach out to mods for clarification!
I think we should also come up with a plan for the minis - ie are we only working on 1 at a time, or trying to tackle all 3 simultaneously. And a book can only work a spell out + 1 mini challenge. Which means 97 books across all 3 mini challenges.

I think my book,

I like the idea of working on the minis simultaneously.

I think my book,

Good catch - I fixed it!

I have three books added to the spreadsheet that I will definitely get to before the end of this round - not sure if I will have time to add any more :)

They will start on Saturday at 1pm PST!

They were all on the shelf already and had completion dates, so I don't know what to tell you.

They were all on the shelf al..."
Weird....when I was on your shelf last night there were about 5 or 6 missing....but they're showing up now, so I'll mark them on the checklist that they're on your shelf. Thank you

I swapped some stuff around and got us a final spell out! Round 2 starts in 3.5 hours!

Excellent!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Here are the facts:
The book is a memoir.
The author is an renowned economist (specialized in poverty).
Since economics and finances are not the same but do overlap on some area I'm hesitating. Would it work for "the MC works in finance" and/or "works in taxes" and/or "needs to know how to handle a budget"? Also, is the author considered the MC or is the memoir not considered like having a MC?

Here are the facts:
The book is a mem..."
I'll bring it to the mods, they do explicitly state that nonfiction doesn't have characters in the rules, but this is a v nuanced situation, ha!
Also, we need an O and N to more on to the next spell out! It's looking like those are the hardest ones to come by this round!

Here are the facts:
The book is a mem..."
Yep - they came back with bc it is NF, there is not a MC.

Thanks! We've made it to spell out 2. I've moved everything over that I could so far.

Here are the..."
Ok thank you <3

Mods perhaps you might change me to loriidae on the spreadsheet, so the single i Lori isn’t confused with the double i lorii.

Sorry, I didn’t receive a message about joining the team. Saw on Google sheets that I had been given access to your spreadsheet.
Glad to join the team.
I think I might be able to use these books for this round:
The Curse of the House of Foskett started 23rd October and finished 30th October.
Nettle & Bone started 18th October and currently reading
Let me know and I’ll add them to the spreadsheet and my shelf. I’ve just started The Invisible Library as well.
