I just finished this and omg I did not think mary could have been anyone else but Lola. I jaw dropped when I found out it was Madison and Lola was dead. This book was so crazy and made me so uncomfortable. Not going to lie in the beginning it felt kind of dumb and like a teen book but once I got closer to the end I thoroughly enjoyed it despite some of the things that were far fetched like when they broke in to the office and got the tip line recordings. Irregardless, the ending was so good. Perfect level of creepy and sad and closure. Just woah.
Spoilers here too!
Ok i have FINALLY got round to finishing this and i loved it. I actually audibly gasped when Drew finally got to the cabin and it was a different girl - he was just a few days late :(
Agreed with Haley at the start i thought this was going to be a teen chick flick and then the pacing sped up and i was genuinely invested. I'd also like to believe that a detective in a real missing persons case wouldn't be that incompetent because it was actually ridiculous how insistent he was at pinning it all on Drew hahaha
