Is there anything Nick or his attorney can do about Nicoletta and her tell-all interview? I don't know if that would raise to the level of libel. And look at our politicians. They lie all of the time and nothing happens to them.As for Sam, I think her colleagues finding out about her relationship with Archie is worse than Nick finding out. Nick knows that neither of them were virgins when they got together. He didn't ask for specifics about her former relationships and he shouldn't. Sam will hear a lot of gossip about her and Archie. Some of the other cops at work seem to have noticed Farnsworth's preference for Sam. I'm sure some of them are jealous and the gossip will start flying.
Regarding Nicolette - aside from proving she is a liar, which is obviously considering Nick is the spitting image of his father, there isn't much they can do unless they want to sue her for libel. As to Sam and Archie -lt will definitely be fodder for gossip around the watercooler. More ammunition for those in the department who resent Sam.
I agree with everyone about Nicolette. However, Sam and Archie were before Nick. It doesn't matter as far as I'm concerned. Yes they may talk about it for a few days, but so what. I've seen enough workplace romances that come and go in my time. As long as it doesn't interfere with Archie's or Sam's work performance. besides they are in different departments.
