[COMPLETE] Restoring Cover Art Deleted En Masse by Goodreads Bot

The Goodreads bot is currently running rampant and randomly merging ebook and Kindle editions together even when they shouldn’t be, and Goodreads staff shows no signs of stopping it. As part of the process, it’s deleting a bunch of editions’ cover art. The following editions need to have their cover art re-added.

For each edition I’ve provided both a link to the high-quality cover art by itself and the publisher’s website or Amazon page.

Thank God it's not you guys, but this sucks because the BOT has no limits and I have a ton of books that have "old" covers, and the Bot is changing them. It is also changing the Goodreads ids for these books so importing the .csv exports into Calibre is much harder. Also, it included a new read date with no read dates, so I have to go through and delete them or else my read counts are off.

Problem is that I am not fluent enough to link the covers to the books that were changed. So, Im just going to hope the other readers fix it.

I'm using the Contact Us form on Goodreads to send in a request for staff to undo every single one of these incorrect merges (and these are just the ones I found today, there were 11 more that I found last night), so hopefully if nothing else they'll fix it just because they're fed up with me.

Hello everyone.

I believe that my debut novel, Kenji and Yuki: A Japanese Tale, may have also been affected by this bot because I noticed that the cover art for the eBook edition was replaced by what appears to be Goodreads' placeholder cover art and that the Kindle edition was deleted entirely/combined with the eBook edition.

Despite this though, there appears to be some discrepancy between the total editions cited on my author page and the total editions cited on the actual Goodreads page for Kenji and Yuki: A Japanese Tale. On my author page, it says that there's a total of three editions. But on the book page, it says that there's a total of two editions.

If someone could assist me with this matter as soon as possible, I would greatly appreciate it.

Is this the reason why all my book id's keep changing? My Calibre library is getting trashed because I can't import the csv's by the book ids. Everytime I think I have it synced, a new book or three pops up as changed. Please...Someone...kill the bot!

Speak to staff, librarians are volunteers and can do nothing about this.
