After Freddie and Josh are abducted while in the car and Freddie is later rescued, Sam assembles her team at her house since she’s on suspension. What say you about her decision to do this? Given that Freddie was injured and Gonzo was MIA, what alternatives did she have?

Since Sam was still suspended at the time, she couldn't go to the station. Malone let her staff go to her so they could work the case in her absence.

I also thought that was Malone’s call and they needed leadership. It was the prudent thing to do.

This situation is completely ridiculous.
Sam was on suspension and should never have been allowed to hold this meeting (or investigate this case at all). Malone's being there condones her behavior, and there are zero repercussions for her actions.

I felt that Malone gave his OK so Sam was authorized to hold the meeting. I do agree with Lauren, Malone is condoning her bad behavior, so we can expect to see more in the future.
