Yeah, the chapters are short so it works for me! Dos this schedule work for you? We can read more if it's too short. Also, you only want to read Carmilla, am I right? My copy has two short stories more, the familiar and green tea.
(I forgot I've told you to make the schedule so I made it anyway ^^')
October 1: prologue-2
October 2: 3-5
October 3: 6-7
October 4: 8-10
October 5: 11-13
October 6: 14-16

@Brianna @Ink Blood Sister scribe
Is this schedule okay? <3
October 4: Prologue - 2
October 5: 3-5
October 6: 6-8
October 7: 9-12
October 8: 13-15
October 9: 16-19
October 10: 20-22
October 11: 23-25
October 12: 26-28
October 13: 29-32
October 14: 33-36

@mina @master of djinn
I think I can manage to read two books at a time~ (I hope so lol) Same as me, but BRs motivate me to force myself to read some chapters each day.
October 15: 1-3
October 16: 4-6
October 17: 7-9
October 18: 10-12
October 19: 13-15
October 20: 16-18
October 21: 19-21
October 22: 22-24
October 23: 25-epilogue

@Dia @Hell Bent
Okay! We can start on the 15th with a slow pace? 30 pages/day is okay. We can start later if you prefer, I don't mind the day~
About Once upon a river we can plan it for November?

@Leslie @Aikaterine @The Golem and the Jinni
Is okay for you if we start at the end of the month, on the 25 or 26, for example?
(I couldn't find my copy and I panicked, but luckily I've found it :') )

How does October 18th-22nd sound?

If so, this would be the schedule:

@Juliane @A Discovery of Witches

It could work, though I might start a couple days earlier. Since this is a little under 600 pages from what I see, I think splitting it out over 7-8 days should work (72-83 pages a day). I don't have a copy yet (my bookstore didn't have their copies in yet), so I don't have breakdown by day yet.
How does splitting it over October 5th through October 11th or 12th sound?

@Dia, @House of Bone and Rain, I’m totally in for the start of the month! The schedule looks great, thank you so much for organizing it!

@Bopeep, @Leslie, having @The Golem and the Djinni BR in late October/early November also works perfectly for me! I just saw that my copy was more than 600 pages and I freaked a bit, haha.

Caraval
Invisible life of Addie La Rue
Dance of thieves

I figure it’d be easier maybe to read one or two of these this month and the others in November/December? Let me know which ones you’d prefer! :)

October 5th to 12th works for me. I might be able to start earlier as well but since I have family visiting I cannot plan any reading time beforehand 😅
The book has 43 chapters but unfortunately my e-book-version has some formatting issues regarding the page counting so I cannot tell if the chapters are roughly even. We could split by 5-6 chapters a day and just see how we get along regarding page numbers or when your copy arrives see if it would be better to split by page count, either option works for me.

Would this schedule work for Caraval? I can change the dates and make it longer if necessary.

8th: Chapters 1-6
9th: chapters 7-12
10th: chapters 13-17
11th: chapters 18-22
12th: chapters 23-29
13th: chapters 30-37
14th: chapters 38-end

I'll make the Dance of Thieves schedule when I get home :)

October 29: 39-42
October 30: 43-45

@Hafs @Carmilla
Which stories are on your book? I'm curious now.
It seems there's a book for the five Dr. Martin Hesselius stories; In a Glass Darkly. If I like the ones I've said before, maybe I'll read the other two from Guttenberg's project :) We can add some extra days to the BR to read and comment the other stories.

@aikaterine @Leslie @The Golem and the Jinni
The book has 28 chapters + epilogue, do you want to read 2 chapters/day?
If we start on the 25, we will finish on November 8th.

9th: chapters 6-8
10th: chapters 9-12
11th: chapters 13-16
12th: chapters 17-19

@Hafs and me for @What Feasts at Night

Oct 24: 1-50 pgs
Oct 25: 51-100 pgs
Oct 26: 101 - end

@Hafs, I assume we can end at a reasonable chapter end or pause around those pages. Also realizing that the page count may just miss the cut off to count for Fright Night but I'm still keen to read it.

Ok I finally got round to making the schedule. Excluding the introduction and stuff, my copy clocks in at 210 pages. I figure we do around 21 pages a day (where the chapters will allow), over the space of 10 days.

1st: Letter 1- chapter 1
2nd: chapter 2- chapter 4
3rd: chapter 5- chapter 6
4th: chapter 7- chapter 8
5th: chapter 1 (volume 2) - chapter 3
6th: chapter 4 - chapter 6
7th: chapter 7- chapter 9
8th: chapter 1 (volume 3) - chapter 3
9th: chapter 4- chapter 5
10th: chapter 6- end

I can shift it around or make it longer if necessary:)

21st: chapters 18-23
22nd: chapters 24-29
23rd: chapters 30-35
24th: chapters 36-41
