I get that Sam took Josh to her home. His claims seem a little out there. I guess it was something for her to do with her time. However she should have told her boss about the claims immediately.
Since Josh believed that the FBI Director had committed a crime, Sam had to be very careful with how she played this. Checking Josh's DNA was the smartest thing to do. They had to be very careful about the whole investigation. Since the police has someone leaking to the press, they also had to make sure nothing was leaked. I agree with Sharon. She should have contacted her Chief after she heard these accusations.
I agree with you both and it irritated me that she didn’t follow Skip’s advice to call Farnsworth immediately. It made no sense. Taking him home seemed like a good next step in that moment.

Why does Sam ask for advice and then do whatever she wants? She is very arrogant.
Lauren wrote: "Why does Sam ask for advice and then do whatever she wants? She is very arrogant..."That makes me crazy too. She never gives a good explanation for her either arrogance either. Sam is going to do what Sam is going to do. It is annoying. Sometimes I feel like she should be promoted to god. She knows all anyway.
