I really appreciate the effort you putt intto that message but Im afraid you misunderstood my question.
I did not ask WHY audiobooks countt, bbut HOW. Whicch means youre supposed to tell me how many points I'll get from an xxx hour long audiobook.

You & your sister both share the same DNA so it works. Anyways an audiobook isn't a different type of literature it's another format of a book. Whether you read an Epub, Physical or audio version of a book it's all the same. Once you finish it just count it as the number of pages in the default edition or the edition you own.

I think more rules are needed for sure. Like maybe a review is needed per boom to gain the points it’s extra evidence to say that it has in fact been read!

I think more rules might make this a little more interesting and also gives the teams with less players more of a shot at earning points or them being deducted.

What’s everyone’s thoughts?

@stefania for example: you read a book with 356 pages, you get 3 point bc of the 300 pages, and you have left 56 pages, right? then the second book you read it’s 344 pages, you sum that up with the 56 pages (344+56=400) and u get 400 pages, which means you get 4 points. that’s it :) if you have any questions or didn’t understand something, don’t hesitate to ask!!!

Hi, I have a question. I am in Mystique, so which rules should we follow? It is written that the rules were switched between Mystique and Ephemeral, so do we still follow the rules we have had since September that are in our group or do we follow the rules in Ephemeral? It's unclear.

So, just to make sure, are these the rules that we should follow?:


MYSTIQUE'S RULES:
1. Follow all rules on the group homepage
2. Each page must have a minimum of five emojis (A page is every 50 messages for mobile users) and a maximum of twenty
3. Any books you read whose listed page count sum is a prime number, are immediately ineligible to be used for anything besides reading. I.e, it won't count towards points or anything else (ex: 346= 3+4+6= 13)
4. Banned words: Change, Human, Productivity, Protocol, Galaxy, Shadow. You cannot use these words under any circumstances
5. More than 5 books cannot be logged in every 24 hours. You can however, log them in the next day

(!) If a rule is added later, then anything done before the rule was implemented will not count as rule breaking
(!) Breaking a rule can result in anything from loosing a few points to getting banned, depending on the severity

Here in Mystique you will assist your team by earning points. The winning team will be the one with the most points at the end of this session, which won't end until at least April 2025 so you need not to worry about that for quite a while. The ways you can earn points are:

•Reading! Every one hundred pages equals one point in a regular book filled with texts. You can add the remaining pages to your next read. For Poetry/Manga/Graphic Novels/Children's, One Book or Volume= 1 Point
•By pointing out a member of another team breaking a rule. Basically, if you snitch you get points, other team loses points
•By Winning Challanges however they're intended to be won
•By Contribution to the group (If it gets implemented)

Yep, they do count as long as the last date you read that book is more than 4 months ago.

for Romanian class I have to study 5 of this playwright's works that are complied in a single book that has 284 pages, but since it's a compilation it counts as 1 point, right?
And I want to read The Secret Garden, since it's a children novel it will only have 1 point, right?

@stefania for the compilation book, it’s how many pages it has, since it has 284, you get 2 and 84 pages carried to your next read. for the secret garden, if it if it has words then it counts as 100 pgs per points
