Please unmerge/delete old book page

I was looking at Margot McGovern's "Between Us Girls" page which I had created a while back when the author announced the book on her Instagram page.
However, since then a new up-to-date version of the book with a new title and updated cover have been added to Goodreads under "This Stays Between Us". I accidentally merged the two books as one, and it's listed under the old title and photo.
Could someone please delete the old version, and just keep the updated version (as found in show all editions)?

You didn't merge them. You combined them. Since the placeholder has more than 5 shelvings you can't merge it since you are a regular librarian. It can only be done by a super librarian. You'd have better luck if you move this post to the correct folder. On desktop move your post by clicking the edit button next to the topic title and choose the Requests for Super librarian folder.
