Sorry. I did not care for either. Peeta was weak, but if i recall he easily selected. Gale stood by and watched as katniss did what was needed. She volunteered and he didnt. That is not masculine behavior. Imo, both of them would have failed, but gale was never in the running. So, without other choices, peeta.
