We do not update covers on existing books/editions. You can request a further edition at 'adding new books & editions'.
The current cover shown is a placeholder. I would like the actual cover shown. If you had looked at the actual book, instead of just reading my post, you would have seen that.
I did look. There is nothing on the existing image to say it is a placeholder, it was published last month, and quite a few site users have already catalogued that edition. Without some form of official confirmation that the image is a placeholder it cannot be removed/replaced.
Well. The cover being shown is not the correct cover. Whomever created the record, either did not have access to the correct cover at the time they created it, or chose the incorrect cover. I have the physical book. And if you type the ISBN number into Amazon or any other book site, you will see the correct cover.
I did request a new edition. I was told by that Librarian that they do not create duplicate editions with the same ISBN. The Librarian that created this edition, either did not have everything they needed at the time (correct cover art) or just made a mistake. Perhaps needs to be some oversight somewhere.
