same, I think so far the book is really good and I can't wait to start reading more!!
I'm really wondering what Mr.Hawthorne is planning by bringing Avery into the will
one of my favorite parts was how all the Hawthrones brothers acted so nice toward avery but after the will was read they all turned on her

at first I thought the fact that he named Avery is the heir had me wondering if he hated his family. I'm happy that Libby left her boyfriend but I'm wondering where Grayson got the idea that Avery manipulated his grandfather when she never met him?? Also what was with the letter he wrote to Avery, how does he know her, did he know her mom??
so far not really liking the mother or Grayson. everyone else is ok so far but I'm waiting for the book to prove me wrong
I like it, same with Grayson. Jameson seems like he wants to slove this just as much as Avery does. I also liked the hint of Averh being the last puzzle or riddle that the grandfather left for his grandsons to solve

it is good, the facts about the will and Jameson letter make some sense, I want to see then come into play later. plus Idk what to think of the fact that a girl named Emily died after spending time at the house
one thing I didn't like is that Libby's ex and mom are just sharing information with the news, same with Zara and Skye
yeah same, I'm kinda wondering what "role" she played with the Hawthorne's. I'm also a little suspicious of Thea like why is she being so nice to her if her aunt is going against her.

I really liked how Jameson is helping Avery solve the puzzle and everything. I still don't like how Grayson or the mom and aunt have been acting
same, but I kinda feel like Avery should be really careful with who she trusts. idk for some reason I have the feeling that Jameson or someone close to her will double cross her. I also like how Grayson put aside his suspicions of Avery to help his brother with his Grief. That's some really nice brotherly bonding.

I need to read more, and I gave to force myself not to read more. Avery talking to the press, well lying was unexpected. I also like how Jameson and Avery are getting closer to solve the puzzle. I also want to know what actually happen to Emily, and what Jameson meant by Grayson happenedm
I thought the same thing. I think Avery needs to be very, very, very careful around Jameson because if he saw Emily die and they were really close what if he does the same but he won't feel as bad because he thinks of Avery as some sort of puzzle. Also I'm not really liking Thea, I feel bad for her because she lost her best friend but idk I'm getting a really bad feeling from her, she seems off for some reason. I kinda also want to know more about Rebecca idk why I get this feeling she could be connected to this (other than the fact that her sister died there) there might be more to her than meets the eye, idk I'm just guessing
same about Thea and Rebecca. I also totally agree Avery should be very careful around Jameson
Jameson seems somewhat unhinged, Thea kinda has this two faced personality and Rebecca idk for some reason even though this is the second time they mentioned she and the first interaction something's off (maybe I'm just being a little paranoid but idk something's weird).
everyone in this book besides Libby, Alisa, Oren and maybe Grayson(emphasis on maybe) really shouldn't be trusted.

a lot of things happened in this chapter. I want to know who tried to shoot Avery. Also, the kiss was unexpected. I also have a gut feeling that Thea can't be trusted. the puzzle is getting closer to being solved, and I am wondering how emily died, now that we know more about her.
yeah I agree, too many things happened. I cannot stress this enough Avery needs to distance herself from Jameson. Avery got shot and all he thinks about is finding the clue like wtf. also are the clues a code to something like a safe?? what is up with Emily, I don't know what to think of her and how did she die. I wonder, does her death have something to do with this mystery idk because they're bringing her up a lot now so what if she has something to do with it.

with Jameson, I don't really have like a gut feeling that he can't be trusted, it is more of why does he want to help Avery, for her benefit or his benefit?

I just finished the 10 chapters and honestly I'm kinda in shock.
i have a feeling that the numbers are most likely used for a safe (not 100% and normally I'm wrong so maybe not) but the whole thing with Libby has me in shock. I really hope it wasn't her and it was someone else because then that is some ultimate betrayal. maybe not though because they were never really close and she sprung to be her guardian (maybe she knew something idk, just my paranoia talking) and when she found out she got shot she wasn't really asking if she was ok and was basically ignoring Avery idk I feel like she did it. but if she did then Avery can't really trust anyone then. (it's so hard not to read more it's taking all my will power). also I didn't like how Alisa and Oren didn't consult Avery and just put her life in danger, that was very messed up. what did you think??

first, I agree with the numbers being a combination for a safe. I also don't know what to think about the situation with libby, but now I have a feeling she can't be trusted for the reason you stated. also, oren and alisa, there is something about what they did that makes me question if they can be trusted.
I finished the 10 chapters. ok, so far a lot of things to unpack here. Emily..... And Thea dressing Avery up like emily was uncalled for. Jameson .... I think he nows hates avery, for a reason she can't control. also, avery being born on the same day?!? very strange that they happen on the same day. Avery now wants to win! and Jameson is done with the games... how the tables have turn. what did you think?
I just finished and honestly Thea has a really twisted form of revenge, dressing Avery as Emily is plain cruel. with what you said about Jameson hating Avery because of her birthday I kinda find it unreasonable. it's something she can't control you can't hate her for being born. I also feel bad for Grayson with the whole Emily thing like.
