Daniel (danieltouchet) | 3 comments Sorry if this is a repeat type of question, but I've already been up and down a hill Googling this.

Brief background:
When I originally joined GoodReads, I wasn't aware of choosing/switching to the edition you own, and simply selected the available default copy, hoping the cover more or less matched.

So, yesterday I finally realized my 1st edition hardcover of John Kennedy Toole's 'The Neon Bible' is not the paperback I'd originally selected on GoodReads, and wanted to fix that.

However, while attempting to fix this, I happened across three different listings of the exact same edition, two of which had the title field was absolutely abused:

'The Neon Bible'

'The Neon Bible: A Novel 1st (first) Edition by Toole, John Kennedy published by Grove Press (1989) Hardcover'

'Rare John Kennedy TOOLE 1st edit/1st print The Neon Bible First Edition 1989 [Hardcover] Literature) TOOLE, John Kennedy [Hardcover] Literature) TOOLE, John Kennedy (Hardcover)'

That itched my mind so badly. I've managed to separate those three and re-combine them, but I'm at a loss on how to eliminate those (horrifyingly) weird title listings. One even has a terribly posed photo of the cover at an angle on a teal background.

Any ideas?

Here's the record for the most "normal" one:

David Raz (davidraz) | 12772 comments These are invalid editions added by the bot. If they weren't shelved they can be set invalid. I went ahead and did that, but for future reference, this does not require a superlibrarian so it doesn't belong in this folder.

Daniel (danieltouchet) | 3 comments Ah, fantastic. The problem seemed a little normal-but-probably typical, so when selecting the options, that seemed maybe the "quick and easy answer" before I managed to make a real mess of it.

Thanks so much David.
