You're welcome! GR has done that to me multiple times where it just deletes the thread I've created. No idea why it happens. Glad one finally stuck!

To find a buddy, you would want to go to the WANTED thread:
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
There you can see what books people are looking to buddy read or you can post books you are wanting to read and see if people want to read with you. Once you have a buddy and have decided on a date, you come back to this thread to request it be added to the calendar :)
