Stitches

Stitches is a birthday clown who is late to a birthday party, where he was hired to entertain some 10-year-olds. One of the children ties his shoelaces together in a prank leading to his death. A group of clowns use his clown egg to perform a ritual resulting in Stitches returning to life six years later. He is determined to exact revenge on the teenagers who contributed to his death.


Complete the following tasks
Arm 1: Read a chain of 3 books with 10 intact in the page count (example 210 pages or 108 pages)
Arm 2: Read a chain of 3 books with a teenage MC

Good morning!
I used one of my banked books for celebrates birthday. I don't have anything banked for any of the others.
I don't see anything at all for author initials in STITCHES but I may need glasses, lol. And I see one of Teresa's banked books works for 10 in the page count but I didn't move it in case you want to use it for something else.

Sorry I've been AWOL! Work has been crazy, I have a new rescue kitten, and we've been having internet issues.

Thank you, Kari and Teresa, for figuring out what we had banked that we could use. I'll take a look and see what else I've got.

She's very sweet and doing really, really well for a kitten born to a feral mama. I've been feeding her mama for over a year, but she's very wary - I've never been able to touch or trap her. She knows me and my car and always comes out to greet me - she's a flirt.

The baby - aka Little Bean (her mama is Beanie) - knows me and associates me with food. I wish I'd gotten her when she was younger, but things are working out well, anyway. She's a cutie - photos will be forthcoming. :)

I've filled in with some completed books I hadn't logged - and I'll finish another today.

That's so lovely that you've cared for both mamma and now the baby. Would love to see pics of both Beanie and LB 🐈. I love cats but I've got a rescue dog and he won't share, he had a rough life before we adopted him and I'm afraid of bringing another pet home. Plus he's super old and spoiled.

❤️❤️❤️ to rescue kitties! My sister rescued an orange and white kitten 15 years ago from the parking lot of grocery store named Co-op. They thought it was a male and so named it Cooper but although it turned out to be female, they kept the name. Poor Cooper just passed not long ago, but lived a long life with them. I hope Little Bean lives at least as long!

Art

Art is a demonic killer clown who is mute and mimes. He only appears on Halloween nights to wreak havoc and torture. He appears in all black & white carrying a black trash bag with various crude weapons. His face is painted pale white, while his eyes, mouth, and eyebrows are painted black. He wears a white bald cap on his head, complete with a small black hat strapped to the top.

Art is extremely dangerous. He slaughters nearly everyone he encounters. He has supernatural abilities and can induce paralyzing fear in his victims. He will chase, stalk, and terrorize his victims. Then he decides whether to sadistically mutilate them or spare their lives, leaving them with the trauma he has inflicted on them. He never speaks but he will mime screams of pain when injured. Art is very theatrical while killing in a very animated and comedic manner. He silently laughs during his sadistic pursuits. When cornered, he does exhibit cowardly tendencies. He will cheat or shoot himself rather than deal with the police. His arrogance does tend to crumble when the odds shift and victims fight back.

Complete the following tasks
Arm 1: Read a chain of 3 books with white covers (minimum 50%)
Arm 2: Read a chain of 3 books with a hat (or more) on the cover
Leg 1: Read a chain of 3 books that start with a letter in ART (team must choose one letter)
Leg 2: Read a chain of 3 books with characters with supernatural abilities

OK, ladies!! I populated the tasks with banked books. All that is left for you two to pick is a book with a hat on the cover and Tru a book with a white cover.

@Tru, I asked in the Q&A if a helmet would work, if so you can use All Systems Red for the hat

Captain Spaulding

Captain Spaulding earned the nickname "Cutter" for stabbing a man to death. He is the patriarch of the Firefly family but keeps this secret so he can send victims to his family. He runs a gas station in Texas. His biggest sales are his fried chicken and his roadside haunted house attraction known as "Captain Spaulding's Museum of Monsters and Madmen". The museum has many strange exhibits and oddities including the famous Murder Ride. A few incidents happened here at Captain Spaulding's. An attempted robbery occurred at the location but both robbers were killed in the act. Two young couples disappeared after a visit to the museum as well.

Jojo the Klownzilla and the Klowns

Jojo is the 18 foot tall leader of the killer klowns with yellow eyes and purple hair. All the other killer klowns show formal respect to him.

The Klowns look like circus clowns but they are murderous aliens. Their names are Jumbo, Fatso, Shorty, Rudy, Spike, Slim, Bibbo, Chubby, Frank, Joe, Slam, Mojo, Bippo, Bash, Killbo, Danny, Crinkles, Magori, Storefront, Talls, Rosebud and Daisy. They invade a small town to capture, kill and harvest humans. The Klowns shoot humans with popcorn from bazooka-like weapons. Humans that are captured are encased in pink cotton candy like cocoons using ray gun weapons. Then the Klowns drink human blood while they are in the cocoons.

There are so many Klowns so each team will be assigned a Klown to catch & cage.

First, you will need a cage: Read a book with all the letters of CAGE in the title
then
Spell out the Klown's name

Ok - We have to do Cage first, which means we can't use any banked books for the rest of the tasks (as per the rules). I found one book banked for Kari, so added that, but I don't have any banked that work for Tru or I. However, as luck would have it, my current read will work!

That was my interpretation - "2. If a clown has a required order banked books may only be used for the first part. Banked books cannot be used for the second part. They MUST be new books."

Sounds like it but I'll ask to double check. In case Cage + Spellout are part 1 and the tasks are part 2.
