I don't think I've heard of this clown before....
Killjoy
Killjoy is a clown-like demon that is the end result of black magic on behalf of tragic individuals who sought love and closure but instead became victims of violence and injustice before being reborn by Killjoy's magic. In the end, after the deaths of their rivals and tormentors, these people who summoned him paid a terrible price by losing their souls to Killjoy. Thus, Killjoy was born and began to murder everyone he came across, prone to driving an ice cream truck.
To capture Killjoy you will need to summon him BEFORE you chain him up. Spell out RIVAL. Then complete the chains below

Er....sorry? You know I have no idea how anything happens on a spreadsheet....
I'm teasing you guys. I must have deleted it by accident when I created NC SS. I thought you guys still had the column and I just realized you didn't.

I see where you've started to add the drop down column - I swear that wasn't there right from the beginning. That's why we put it in the Justification column.
ETA: Thank you for your spreadsheet skills!!!

Hey, you were lucky I was able to any of this sanely. I have been in pain for weeks. I broke a tooth and had to have it pulled on Thursday. They decided to send me home with no drugs. My face hurts still. My old dentist in Leechburg gave me Vicodin. These people just sent me home with nothing. Take some ibuprofen if it hurts. Yeah, that ain't cutting it.

Oh Donna - I am so sorry to hear that! Doctors and dentists seem more and more reluctant to provide pain medication, even when it is so obviously needed. Our medical system is definitely out of whack.

I'm sorry, Donna, this sounds terrible, hope you're better soon :S

Thank you :)

The Revenge one is tricky...

There's only 3 book, but they are all tagged revenge!

I also found several books that will work fot TW, so I can read two if anyone wants to pass on Revenge.

Hmmmm....I can get the audio for that one via hoopla - although the author is also the narrator.....
I'd been thinking fof just going with A Christmas Wedding by Ali Ryecart - I asked, and wedding cakes count.

It really wasn't for me. I didn't like the MC much and while there were aspects of the magic system that were interesting, I found the world building lacking. There were also things that just didn't make sense - I wasn't impressed.
I spent the $.99 US for the Kindle book because I could get the audio free from hoopla. The author was the narrator - she wasn't bad, exactly, but there wasn't much differentiation between character voices.
Skip it, unless in case of urgent need!
Kent McCoy
Kent McCoy is a loving father who when hosting a birthday party for his son finds an old clown costume in the basement of a house he is selling and puts it on when the hired clown can't make it. He's then unable to take the costume off and soon starts changing, upon contacting the previous owner of the costume he learns it is the hair and skin of an ancient Icelandic demon called the "Clöyne" and that dismemberment is the only way to prevent the possession. Once possession has occurred the only way to release the host is to eat 5 children.
Complete the following tasks
Arm 1: Read a chain of 3 books set in Iceland
Arm 2: Read a chain of 3 books with a 5 in the publication date
Leg 1: Read a chain of 3 books tagged family
Leg 2: Read a chain of 3 books with a house on the cover

Yikes Tru! I'm sorry it wasn't a good pick! My book wasn't bad but not great either.

I've got a nonfiction book I've been meaning to get to that will work. If not for that, I was looking at Scandicrime, which isn't my favorite. If I come up with another, I'll read a second.

Agreed, that's the hardest for me as well.
I saw these but I don't know if they're good, I haven't read them.
A Viking for Yule
Dragon Force
Midnight Sun
Nine Frosty Nights: Baes of Christmas

Yeay, hope it's good! I might try the last one on the list, I'm still undecided.

Nvm - It is the original publish date I'm looking at LOL

I don't know which one it is, but mine worked for both. I was too lazy to check, lol.

Oh dear - going by ratings can be so tricky. I've certainly read some stinkers for challenges, too. I'm sorry it was bad!

Ohh no!! It sounded like it had potential. Sorry, Teresa :S.

Not your fault in the least! It should have been good and right up my alley... And it's not like I had anything else that would fit the task 😆
