Killer Clown Roundup

C Facepaint Force (continuing)
Also,I noticed Donna lives not too far from where I am located. We had huge storms roll through last week. We lost our power for several days. I know people who have been without power for over a week now. I'm wondering if Donna had the unfortunate luck to be one of them...
Hey Carrie - I am feeling better, thank you for asking. I only had covid once before and it was pretty mellow for me. Not this time. It kicked my butt. And my son got married yesterday! I was so worried I would still be contagious, but I was good to go.
How are you both doing?
I’m so glad you were good to go for your son’s wedding! Congratulations! My daughter got married in August. It seemed like we were planning forever and then it all happened so fast. So exciting though!
Covid is rough. I’ve been fortunate to only have had it once. It kicked my butt but only in that it made me exhausted thankfully. Sorry to hear it got the best of you this time. With any luck you’ll be immune for quite awhile and not get it again!
Tickles

Tickles the Clown also known as "The Mauler of Innocents" was once an ordinary man who performed as a clown for children's parties. A traumatic event triggered a psychotic breakdown and he gained infamy for abducting and murdering children in brutal and grotesque ways.
He targets not only children but anyone who crosses his path in a deranged need to "preserve" innocence by snuffing it out. He is a very cunning and deeply sadistic person. He takes pleasure in the fear & suffering of his victims. His version of "tickling" is more like torture. His personality is a mix of dark humor and psychopathy. He taunts his victims with mocking laughter and twisted jokes.
Tickles has a terrifying, demonic appearance with exaggerated black eye sockets, a jagged red mouth smeared with blood, and a cracked, grimy white face. His wild matted hair and worn costume just make him look unhinged. His maniacal grin adds to the menacing look that will haunt you long after he is gone.
Complete the following tasks
Arm 1: Read a chain of 3 books with all the letters of TICKLES in the title/series
Arm 2: Read a chain of 3 books with a maniacal grin on the covers (your interpretation)
Leg 1: Read a chain of 3 books that haunt you (scary to you)
Leg 2: Read a chain of 3 books that start with a letter in MAULER (everyone can choose a letter of their choice)

For several days, yes. Not the full week they were expecting. Just long enough to have to replace everything in our freezer.

I’ve got books for TICKLES, grin and letter U. I’m still working on book that haunts not because I can’t find one but I’m narrowing it down to one.

That’s terrible Donna! We have actually started considering getting a generator since we seem to be getting hit by the storms and power outages more and more.

I'm sorry to hear that Donna! Being without power is terrible. I'm glad you are good for the most part.
I'll have my second book finished tomorrow. I still need tickles and grin if you have something for either of those!
Sorry! Work has been crazy. I'll have that book done today and get it posted and ask for the next clown.
Killjoy

Killjoy is a clown-like demon that is the end result of black magic on behalf of tragic individuals who sought love and closure but instead became victims of violence and injustice before being reborn by Killjoy's magic. In the end, after the deaths of their rivals and tormentors, these people who summoned him paid a terrible price by losing their souls to Killjoy. Thus, Killjoy was born and began to murder everyone he came across, prone to driving an ice cream truck.
To capture Killjoy you will need to summon him BEFORE you chain him up. Spell out RIVAL. Then complete the chains below

I’ve got planned books that will count for R, V and L but I can find an I or an A instead if that’s easier for y’all.
Perfect timing! I was just trying to decide which audiobook to start next and now that’s an easy decision.
Do you want me to cover one of the tasks for ya? I’ve got additional books for revenge, ice cream truck and demons but I could probably find another for dessert.
Do we have to pick the same letter for ice cream truck? I couldn’t remember. I’ll look and see what I have for the other ones.
I don’t think so as it just says a letter. So it seems like we could do the same letter but it doesn’t have to be.
Okay. One more question lol -Do you think this counts as dessert:
It’s just blueberries on the cover or do you think it needs to be like on a plate, dish etc?
I could argue that blueberries are dessert but ususlly mixed with something so alone I would say it doesn’t count.
I'm just on a roll with questions - do personal demons count for demons???I'm determined to make The Berry Pickers fit lol
I put it on the SS but if we think that it has to be literal demons then I'll take it off 😊
I think years of trauma would absolutely count as personal demons. I almost went that route myself but I like the actual demons more.
