Shan ~A~ | 1249 comments I'm working on my last two. One an ebook, the other audio.

I don't know how a book that says it's 415 pgs ended up being 19+ hours. If I had known I would have started it earlier today instead of right before bed, but I'll spend time listening tomorrow and depending on the narrator, I may bump the speed up to 3.

I've decided to cut down on challenges next year. Finding I don't have enough time just to enjoy a book that I want.

Joker
description
The Joker is a supervillain clown with green hair, white skin, and red lips. He has no superhuman abilities. Sometimes he works with other supervillains but these collaborations usually collapse due to his desire for chaos.

Complete the following tasks
Arm 1: Read a chain of 3 books with Red, White & Green covers (no other colors allowed - except for text)
Arm 2: Read a chain of 3 books with weapons on the cover
Leg 1: Read a chain of 3 books with the word POISON in the text
Leg 2: Read a chain of 3 books with the authors initials in JOKER

Richard (richoman25) | 2779 comments Hey team, I just got clarification on Arm 1.

"Ok, I will allow black detailing & outlines. Each book may have one, two, or all of the colors listed. They do not have to have the same colors. Book 1 may have red & white. Book 2 might have green and book 3 might have all three colors. It is up to you."

I think they all might work but I would check with Donna. Shan I just noticed that you don't have completion dates for Cleaver on the spreadsheet

Thanks Anastasia! I definitely missed that. I called myself scrolling trying to make sure there were no empty dates, because I remembered planning to switch some things around and couldn't remember if I'd done that either.

Anyway, I've updated one and asked Donna what to do since I didn't finish a book for the last one during that week but can definitely do it before we check in with this next monster. I'll go ahead and start it after the book I'm doing for the current monster in case she says it's okay to just finish before checking in again.

Twisty
description
Twisty is a clown with a mental disability. He worked with Rusty Westchester's Traveling Circus. The carnival freaks, jealous of his popularity, spread a false rumor that he was molesting children. He lost his job and could no longer find work as a clown. He returned to his hometown to find his mother had died. Desperate and angry, he attempted suicide. He survived but his lower jaw had been blown off in the attempt. He began wearing a wide-grin prosthetic mask over his missing jaw. He also decided to make the children love him again by keeping them safe from their mean parents. They made them do chores and denied them candy.
He also thought the carnival freaks that cost him his job were "stealing" the children so he had to protect them from them as well. So he started wearing his clown suit and carried a sack that held his juggling pins. He became a bloodthirsty kidnapper and serial killer but he didn't realize that his actions were wrong.

Complete the following tasks
Arm 1: Read a chain of 3 books with characters that have a mental disability
Arm 2: Read a chain of 3 books that start with a letter in CIRCUS
Leg 1: Read a chain of 3 books with candy on the cover
Leg 2: Read a chain of 3 books with all the letters of the word JUGGLING in the title/series

It's a cult horror TV show that went for 12 seasons. Each season was set in a different decade & in different locations. But the main actors played different characters for each season. Fantastic actors & actresses, fantastic soundtrack, amazing stories, & such a cool vibe.

I found Night of the Juggler which is a a short book but I wouldn't recommend it as I am not finding it that interesting. I typed juggling into the goodreads search bar and it came up with a heap of books, so maybe you could find something that may interest you that way.
