Anastasia (anastasiaruff) | 1728 comments Shan just wondering if you wanted me to take one of your chains? I have a fire book I can finish quickly.

I got it but thinks. I had to wait until babysitting duty was over before I could log on to find a fire on cover book.

I'll most likely get through 2 of the 3 I have left on Saturday. Maybe all 3, since I'll listen while I clean and then while I play either The Sims or Hogwarts.

No worries, I can understand with babysitting. I can’t get any reading done on my babysitting days either.

The Lunatics
description
The lunatics were three psychos who escaped from a mental hospital when a circus was in town. They murdered three clowns and took their costumes as their own. All three clowns are deranged with violent tendencies. Each has their own distinct look and behavior but all are equally menacing acting in almost near silence.
Cheezo: The leader of the trio. He has an eerie calm about him.
Bippo: The most aggressive, known for erratic and unpredictable behavior.
Dippo: The quietest of the three and most malevolent.

You have been assigned to capture Bippo

Shan ~A~ | 1249 comments If we can use author's I can take the B

message 110: by Shan ~A~ (new)

Shan ~A~ | 1249 comments If it's title's only I'm sure I can find either

message 111: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (anastasiaruff) | 1728 comments I have a buddy read that I can finish for the B if that is okay. We get extra points for the buddy reads and that is the only letter that fits.
The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent

message 117: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (anastasiaruff) | 1728 comments Okay the B is done, I raced to finish it so I could use it for turf wars as well.

message 120: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (anastasiaruff) | 1728 comments I'll take the O then Shan if you do the I

message 121: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (anastasiaruff) | 1728 comments Finished my O book, so we are just waiting for Shan to finish hers. Not sure if that is all we need to do for this one

The Heads
description
The Heads are a group of clowns that kidnap a group of people to play a game with them within a haunted house. They are given 12 hours to survive while the clowns try to kill them. The clowns are named Doom-Head, Psycho-Head, Schizo-Head, Death-Head, Sex-Head and Sick-Head.
Sick-Head is a midget that looks like a Hispanic Hitler complete with swastika. Psycho-head and Schizo-Head are chainsaw-wielding brothers. Death & Sex have those words actually written on their chests and are reminiscent of a BDSM duo. Doom-Head is the creepiest of the bunch.

Your team has been assigned: Schizo-Head
S
C
H
I
Z
O
H
E
A
D

Spell out your assigned head. The twist for this task is if you complete the spell out in 12 hours or less, your team will receive a bonus of 50 points.
You have until 9:27 PM EDT for the bonus points. Good luck!

Now I am leaving before any of you throw anything at me.

message 128: by Richard (new)

Richard (richoman25) | 2779 comments 12 hours. Ok, it's currently 11:30pm where I am. I'm happy to do an all-nighter, to get us the points.

That's up to you. I'm currently at work, but I can take the I or A right now with Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews

If you do decide to do that. I'll check once I'm done to see if I can find shorter books to help out with what's remaining on the SS.

message 130: by Richard (new)

Richard (richoman25) | 2779 comments Sounds good! 🙃

message 131: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (anastasiaruff) | 1728 comments Only just got up and saw this. It's 6 am here and my grandbaby is sick so have an unexpected free day. I've got a few books to finish off and can take a few.

message 132: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (anastasiaruff) | 1728 comments I updated the sheet with the ones I just finished for other challenges. I can speed read the Z.

message 133: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (anastasiaruff) | 1728 comments If you take the I Shan, then we will have a H and A left. I can do these if no one else wants them.

message 134: by Shan ~A~ (new)

Shan ~A~ | 1249 comments That works. My current book works for both. I can still try to get to another if you haven't finished both of those when I'm done with this one. I'm currently at 86% since I've had to keep starting and stopping.

message 135: by Richard (last edited Sep 25, 2024 02:55PM) (new)

Richard (richoman25) | 2779 comments Aaah sorry team...I fell asleep while reading.

I can take the H & A

Also the Z, if you don't want to speed read, Anastasia

Finished it.

message 137: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (anastasiaruff) | 1728 comments Richard I'll take the A. It won't take me long. I have read all the Agatha Christies probably over 20 times They are my comfort reads and I have 3 complete sets of all her books.

message 138: by Richard (new)

Richard (richoman25) | 2779 comments Ok, I'll take the H then. I'll also read a higher-scoring book for the other H.

message 139: by Richard (new)

Richard (richoman25) | 2779 comments We'll be fine. We still have at least 2 hours left.

message 140: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (anastasiaruff) | 1728 comments I finished my books, so just waiting on yours Richard. Will you be able to check us in or do you have to work soon?
