Can I change my cover pre-release?

My book is scheduled for publication on September 25 and has not yet been released. The cover currently shown on Goodreads does not have official placeholder language, but it is functioning as an early version of the cover. I would like to update the cover to the final version that will be released on my publication date. The new cover is very similar to the old one but has some color corrections.

Can this previous placeholder cover be replaced with the final cover for release, or do I have to create an alternate cover edition? The file link for the new cover is this: https://booksbyjayna.com/wp-content/u...

A few digital ARCs have been sent out, but no final versions, and the cover is not different enough to cause any confusion among ARC readers.

We should keep the cover as it has been used. You can add ARC to the edition field.
The new cover can be added as an alternate cover edition.
