okay so this is kind of a long story with some low-key confusing spots so bare with me here cuz I need help here. okay so basically, saturday I went to a fair with one of my friends. we will call her B. so me and B went to the fair together and when we got there B's mom said that we had to walk around with her friends son who we will call W. he is a year older than B and I. so basically we are all walking around together and me and W keep arguing over everything because he keeps starting petty little arguments with me. so anyways, fast forward a little bit I see this boy and I start like giggling and being the teenage girl I am and out of nowhere, W says oml I know him. and I'm like "WHAT??? Can I know him toooo?" So W is like okay fine whatever. So he walks up to this boy.. we will call him M and says something to him then M says "okay I'll find you later" So then a couple of hours later M sees me, B, and W and walks over to us and I'm like to afraid to say anything to him until B literally forces me to. So I end up walking up to him and just being like heyy and he asks how old I am and I tell him and he asks where I'm from and yk blah blah blah so then he says "ngl you are fine tho" and again I start acting like the teenage girl I am and he asks for my snap and I'm like I don't have snap I can give you my number tho and hes like alr and pulls out his phone and its dead so I'm like hol up lemme go grab mine. so I go get my phone and get his number or whatever and the whole time, W is just standing there. so anyways, me and M see each other one other time and that's when I realize idk how old he is or anything. so I end up asking W how old he is and he tells me he is two years older than me. normally that's not a big deal but I'm 14 and hes 16 and that makes it a little different when he has his license and stuff yk. like my dad is already kinda strict about boys. so I'm like ooooh errrm. so then W and B start to convince me that M doesn't actually like me and I end up believing them cuz I am me. then we are all on this ride and W says "when a guy likes a girl, he will do anything to talk to her, even starting arguments with her." and I didn't think anything of it at the time and moved on. so then me and W end up going on a ride called the ring of fire together. if you don't know what it is, look it up... its important to the story. so while we are upside down, I look at W and I'm like "I don't think you actually hate me" and he says "Jenna I already told you I'm starting the arguments on purpose." and I was like ... oh so then after that we went on bumper cars and while we were waiting in line I said I was cold and he said something about it not being that cold and I say "I have goosebumps" and he's like yeah but you've had them for like 2 hours. and I was like ommlll like this boy has been paying that much attention to meeee... whaaat. so then he says if I had a jacket you know I would give it to you. then fast forward some more flirting and talking, we end up holding hands on this other ride and I get his number after deleting M's. so now we are like talking and stuff but I was talking to B about him and she was like "be careful because he will have moments where he gets super annoyed or upset out of nowhere" and that kinda freaked me out cuz I've been with guys like that because and there is a reason I'm not anymore. He has been nothing but nice to me but should I listen to her or see where this goes?

personally, I think you should see where this goes. It's clear he likes you, and maybe B only said that because she also likes W. even if thats not the case, you should still see how W is for yourself rather than just hearing it from one person, yk?

okay guys update real quick... not much to say other than B is being real weird guys.. she keeps like texting W and talking to him and most of it is just about me but they have literally never texted before me and W started talking and its kinda weird tbh. like idk how I feel about it. like she acted like she hated him right up until I said that I liked him and she saw us holding hands on the ride and otw back to the car. then all of a sudden she is acting way to interested in him. W did ask my to go to the movies with him but I had to tell him no cuz my dad is strict about me going out out with guys if that makes sense. like I can date but I can go on dates. so I had to tell him no and when I told B about it, she texted him and started asking him a whole bunch of questions about it like she was the one being asked out no me. then she says well this is my business to cuz I've known him way longer than you and I'm just kinda like okay well that doesn't matter when I'm trying to get to know him. and me and W have barely been able to talk since we started talking because he works so much. and I get it cuz I have a job to so I'm not complaining about that part it just kinda sucks cuz I want to talk to him about B. but I also don't know if I should say anything to him about B because we aren't even like dating yet so idk if its really my place to say anything about her.

thank you so much for all your advice guys!! that was such like an interesting situation. W never texted me again after he said that so i think i am js gonna leave that be because I think that if it was really that important to him he would not have complained about meeting my dad because what he wanted to do was take me to the movies and im not about to go sit alone in a dark room with some guy i barely know if he wont even meet my dad. its really important to me that whoever im talking to, my parents like and he was just not that.
